Saw the headline on Sprintcar Unlimited that Zeb Wise is going to race the #11 does this mean Dale is out ,he had a fair year just hard to beat the #87 right now .

Perhaps he just wanted to run the All Star schedule and then call it a season?

Fingers crossed that is the reason. I saw the article as well. Article indicates Zeb Wise will be running Jacksonville this weekend so no Natty Open for Dale. The article never mentions Dale so it's not clear what this weekend is. Just the weekend or potentially more? After reading it you're left with some unanswered questions.

Per the McGhee motorsports Facebook page, Dale was all-star season only.

Seems strange......but maybe that explains why he didn't run the Knoxville Nationals even though the team competed there?

Dale's deal was only for the All Star Season. However, I have heard that Dale has an open invivtation from his nephew Ryan to drive the team hauler or motorhome (not sure which one) and he was considering taking him up on the offer and no longer racing

I hope that is not the case. The Low Rider has proven he still can get the job done in a sprint car with three All Star wins and second place in the All Star point standings this season.......

I first heard of the standing offer to be Ryan's motorcoach driver back when Dale was driving the Zemco car. I think after 2017 and 2018 he felt he had some unfinished business. No doubt this season has shown what we already knew, he can still get it done. I'm just selfishly hoping we haven't seen the last of him behind the wheel.

If that's true I would assume that offer would be as his motorhome driver. I don't think Ryan would have any say in who drives Team Penske's race car haulers.
Ask Frank

Agreed 100%. He's still a force to be reckoned with. Comparing him to Reutzel this season is almost unfair but Dale got closer to him than anyone else did and he kept the pressure on him until the very end.

Not exactly on point but worth a mention is that the Blaney family, Katie, Dave and Dale, will the guests for EMMR's roundtable Dec 8.

Saw where Dale is advertised at Ayomic Speedway this weekend for the Fast Series wonder if hes still in the #11?
Looks like a good race to attend but like Steve Post said on Winged Nation about the Short Track Nationals to bad Series cant work together and spread out the premier races.

I vaguely remember an article over the summer saying that Dale would be coaching basketball this winter.

He's out of the 11. Too bad, they were fast when they didn't have mechanical issues.
