I say put JOEY SALDANA in the seat he still has it in him.. 2020 woo Champion. Great fit for all involved for making it possible.. CJB=PLEASE CONSIDER JOEY SALDANA

You might be on to something here. Joey doesn't have much to lose - if he hasn't gotten too used to staying at home most nights.
To others on an upward trajectory, it's likely the penalty box. Sorry
Bump me, I'm skipping here: I'm not much of a Gravel fan, but his success in the CJB car says more about him than the CJB car.

Gravel almost always elevates the car he’s in, the only exception being the Destiny 7.

In news I did not expect to read, Chad Boespflug will be piloting the Troy Renfro 2KS, running weekly at Knoxville and other upper midwest shows in 2020.

My opinions from what I have heard. Gravel to nascar trucks filling in with the Indy Race Parts 71 when available. PPM to the 41. Gio to ARCA. Not sure what Shane Stewart is doing, heard maybe some funding from Justin Marks. All just hearsay at this point.

The thaught that Swank would go to BRM never entered my mind other tthan to post something silly in the Silly Season thread ...

I know PPM brings dollars but that would be a big downgrade in drivers from Gravel to him.

Very little news coming out of Charlotte this weekend.....usually a lot of announcements are made with the teams. I guess the next big news cycle will be the PRI show in December.?

I think Gravel is the first domino that needs to fall so until that announcement (assuming there is one) is made then things will fall into place.

I’m sure some information will trickle out tonight at the WoO banquet!? I’m really hoping Gravel stays put!

The fact that they said they want to go for a championship next year tips off that if Gravel leaves, PPM is not the guy.

True to most of your point except destiny. He did not win a race with them but started the Knoxville Nationals that year in the front of the four wide salute. Think he may have had a second place finish while in the 7 car. Better than most thus far in that ride!

That makes sense so who will it be? Shane?

Shane wouldn't drive Jason's car, IMO. I do believe we'll have Gravel in the seat of the 41 in 2020. That said, if JJR had to field a new driver, I'd love to have in order: 1. Dominic Scelzi, 2. Tim Shaffer, 3. Cale Thomas. Bill Balog would be awesome to have as well.

Might be a possibility but I don't think they will be able to keep the success they had this year. Although Shane is historically good at Eldora & Knoxville so some of the crown jewel events they would do good in. I really don't see anyone out there available that can keep the level of success.
Schuchart is staying in 1s, I don't think Gio is going full time as he will probably try to keep his options open for pavement as well. Reutzel is still doing his own operation. I don't know other than Shane or Shaffer who would be available or Joey

Jeremy Elliot says he will split time between trucks and #41 if he misses races no chance at a championship which Bobbi says is their goal.

So the goal is an owner's championship? Gonna need a good fill-in driver when Gravel misses WoO races for NASCAR Truck races. I'm really curious what truck and how many races are in the works...

Athough it has never really been done before, I guess the owner can still win the championship with a fill in driver. Who is on the market that would be willing and able to be sucessful as a part time driver for the team?
