He'll drive the Leavine Family Racing #95 Toyota, which is affiliated with Joe Gibbs Racing. It had to happen sometime.

I wonder if Bell will follow in the footsteps of other Nascar stars and form a sprint car team.
if he does, who would you recommend hiring?

He just did form a sprint car team. And he hired himself. And he won first time out.

Pittman would make sense - both he and Bell from OK right? Pittman has been less than stellar in the Roth car (Don't get me wrong he hasn't been bad). I doubt Roth would fight hard to keep him with other big time CA guys (such as Scelzi, Kofoid or even Eliason again) poised to make the jump to WoO in the next few years.
That said I doubt Bell is making Kyle Larson money yet (I could be wrong) and I suspect he will probably just field a car for himself until he does start raking in the big money.

Seems like I remember an interview with Bell where he said it was one of his goals to eventually form a WoO team like Larson and Stenhouse. I assumed he meant to hire a younger driver. I would think his goal would be a full time team and a 2nd car for himself at special events like Larson does. That would be cool.

I disagree about Pittman leaving Roth. It's my opinion that as long as Pittman wins a few races and remains in the top 5 or 6 in points, Roth keeps him as long as he wants to stay. Pittman is an anchor for the WoO and arguably there finist ambasador. The fans love him, he's not hard on equipment and apparently does a great job of managing the team and keeps the equipment looking great.

I understand but it's still tough to watch, like a thoroughbred horse relegated to pulling a 4 bottom plow on an Amish farm.

I'm not saying it won't ever happen but with the current state of NASCAR, if it does I don't think it will come from the money he's made from NASCAR. At one time I heard that Tony Stewart was making between 30 and 35 million a year. That was just his salary not including endorsements. An article I read recently said that Jimmie Johnson is the last driver to make more than 10 million a year, which I think was around 17 million. The only other part of the article I remember is that the majority of NASCAR drivers today are in the 6 figure range. Obviously sponsors have noticed the drop in ratings. So unless there's a huge rise in ratings and sponsorship I don't know that he will make the money to fund an outlaw team unless the money comes from elsewhere.

That's some kind of horse that can pull a 4 bottom plow. Just kiddin, I know you meant part of a team of 8, 10 or even 12 work-horses which it takes to pull a 4 bottom plow. Though I'm from the midwest, I've been out to the eastern states to watch some WoO races and Cup races (PA Amish communities seen) and those big teams of 1500, 1600, even 1800 pounds+ work horses pulling plows is a sight to behold for this old farm boy.
Yes, the days of new young drivers getting hired to drive a Cup car and make millions is not happening. Six-figure salaries for a season, yes. Kyle Larson a few years ago is the exception to getting a million dollar+ contract his first year. And if he were going to Cup next year, it wouldn't be for a million. Sponsors are getting smart with their money today. Not just throwing it at Nascar because its Nascar.
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

Its funny that NASCAR salaries get brought up. Just the other day I was watching recap of Dale Sr's last win at Talladega, I swear I heard the annoucer say that race paid 2 million to win and there was a 1 million bonus for Dale if he won it.
I think its safe to say that kind of money is no longer around in Nascar and probably isnt coming back.
Those stands were also packed and when Dale took the lead you couldnt hear the cars on the track over the fans in the stands.

I totally agree with everything you said about Pittman. He's a top notch individual who has had a Hall of Fame career and a former series champion.......not too many can say that BUT from what I've heard about Roth, he wants to win and win often. I hope he keeps Daryn but I wouldn't be shocked if they made a change either.

Just making it a couple months, let alone an apparent entire season, is a stellar performance in the 83.
It must be the beef. Another rather prominent beef sponsored car had a revolving door.

Be interested to see what happens with Stenhouse's WoO team now that he is out at Roush. Although, Marshall is still involved so that has to be helpful.

That is how the beef industry works. You dont make money on one cow and you don't keep them more than a few months. You need a 1000 cows for a few weeks to make a few cents each, and keep the door revolving.
Just saying.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I was thinking that same thing. It will be interesting to see if Ricky lands at another team soon. Would love to see him at Stewart Haas, and he would be much better in the 41 or 10 cars than their current drivers. Might be better than Bowyer too in the 14. Of course I know it won't come down to talent as much as sponsorship. I really hope Sheldon's situation is solid though. I guess we'll see.

And so far nobody has made the Brian Kemenah and CBell connection
Maybe he doesn’t want an Outlaw team?
Certainly would be a car in good hands

I don't watch NASCAR as close as I used to, but about the only time I see him is when he's wrecking someone. Unless he's bringing sponsorship, I could see him being out of the cup series altogether.
