I had meant to ask about TrackChasers.com and forgot till i saw race chasers thread. Does anyone know what happened to this site? I enjoyed looking in from time to time and had set my lifetime goal of joining the 50 state club. It's hard to do the 50 state deal when all you really want to see are Sprint Cars.

man I think you can get up in the mid 40's or so (in states) just watchin sprints. even Alaska has sprints. I think it's when you get up in the northeast into new hampshire and Maine that options start runnin dry. ANd some states in the deep souht, but ascs and uscs run special sprint shows there. Am I correct in assuming that throughout the entire nation you can see sprints - with the assumed exceptions of Idaho, Rhode Island, Vermont, Delaware, and Maine? how about Hawaii?
I guess what you couldn't do with the few states you could make up with Canadian Provinces that run sprints - I think the majority of those do have at least a few sprint shows - am I right MSPN?

I live in Vermont right now. They do have some mini-sprint shows here. And the Legion Speedway in Wentworth, New Hampshire runs weekly 360 sprints, although its on an about 1/5 mile track. The small-block modifieds at the devil's bowl speedway are worth a look in Vermont. And the URC 360 sprints definitely have more than one show in Delaware. I'm not sure about Idaho, Maine or Rhode Island. I'm pretty sure there is no sprint races in Hawaii. But, Hawaii isn't the kind of place that you'd have no other reason to go to is it.Take a vacation and add an Imca mod race or something as part of your week. I also know that there is no dirt tracks in Connecticut, and I believe there are no sprint shows there.

Delaware International runs URC 360 Sprints about once a month. I know for many of the track chasers, Rhode Island was their final state because the state does not even have a weekly track of any kind. The only way to actually get Rhode Island is by hoping an odd indoor show will spring up during the winter.

WhoWon.com lists two dirt tracks in Hawaii that run sprints, but neither has a schedule
Hilo, HI
Kopolei, HI
They also list a single dirt track in Rhode Island, but I think it is literally someone's back yard that occasionally a bunch of friends get together at.
Barnyard Speedway Chepachet, RI
