Lance may be busy; IDK. Anyway, 30 race cars; 29 qualified. Unofficially, Richard VanderWeerd was fastest at :16.411, with Jake Swanson at :16.530, Brody Roa at :16.627, and Damion Gardner at :16.658. Austin & Cody Williams rounded out the top six.
They are running a series of three-lap dashes at Perris right now, it appears. (???) Looks like the winners were Swanson, Swanson, VanderWeerd and Austin Williams over the course of four dashes. First heat forming now, evidently.
USAC WC 360 star Ryan Bernal just won THE trophy dash for the Civil War 360 wingers here at Watsonville. He also won the fourth of the four heats. Two-time Oval Nationals champ Bud Kaeding won the second.

Richard VanderWeerd nipped Charles Davis Jr. in the final lap with Danny Faria third in the first heat at Perris.
