Former WS 360 and three-time USAC Silver Crown champ Bud Kaeding (from Campbell) was the unofficial winner of the $5,000.00-to-win/ $800.00-to-start, Howard Kaeding Classic for NARC King of the West 410 wing sprints at Watsonville's Ocean Speedway tonight. Other WS 360 "grads" in the feature included Ryan Bernal of Hollister (8th), D. J. Netto of Hanford (10th), Danny Faria of Tipton (15th), and Geoff Ensign of Sebastopol (18th). 34 cars qualified. Feature contenders included Shane Golobic (2nd), Willie Croft (3rd), Justin Sanders (4th), and Colby Copeland (5th).
