Anyone got a guess on car count for Fri at Hartford? Weather forecast looks spectacular (finally!). I know some non-regulars are coming up from Ohio.....hoping for at least a full field....

Every year, I get surprised by the Michigan race and there's more cars than I expect. Having said that, I expect there not to be a B main.
What non-regulars are you expecting? I know the 71H will be there. Who else? Any of the Indy 71 cars? Any Wisconsin cars? I was told WoO is expecting 30ish.

Attica runs which will keep most of your Ohio guys in Ohio. I believe GLSS runs which would keep in 360 guys that have 410's from running. I would say somewhere in the 26-30 range.

What's a "full field"?

I would define "full field" as having at least the same number of cars as there are starting spots available in the A main.

Probably about 30's as most have said. That's about the norm (for an outlaw show) up there I believe.

On a more positive note, there’s a really nice crowd and no chance for rain.

How about TK jumping in a car and just showing WoO regulars what's up?

They are really stretching out this show that has about 40 total cars. So much downtime

Lol and they dump water on concrete. This show won’t be over until well after 11.

I was a little concerned earlier today when the outlaws posted their race day picture and the track was so dry it was almost as white as Johnny Gibson’s pants. 4th attempt at track prep will hopefully provide a good surface for the feature.

Terrible track but late track prep let Dirtvision go to River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks to fill in time..Watched most of their feature the cut back to Hartford..Feature was exciting for the track they gave them to run on..Terrible track prep for the whole show..

Schuhart coming from 9th on that track to lead was fun to watch ....bad luck on the late caution which allowed Gravel to pass him on the restart. Track prep may have been dodgy but WAY better than 2 yrs ago.....

I love TK. Very exciting to watch. (I will disagree on the fact that he showed the WoO regulars "what's up" as he faded quickly in the feature.)
However, he did not fade at the Nationals last year during the A on Saturday night. It was hard to look back there with the battle going on up front, but if you snuck a peek, you would see he was possibly the fastest car on the track during the last 20 laps of the feature. It's no joke that he would have been a serious threat in that race if he would have had better track position.
Hoping they can nail the setup again in a few weeks.

He showed the WoO regulars what's up way before last night. One the best drivers in the country. Guys like TK, Cole Duncan, Tim Shaffer are all underrated imo. And yeah I'm pulling for him big time at Knoxville this year. You start that guy in the first 3 rows and I like his chances.
