Looks like you folks are having a great Speedweek so far. Good car counts, good crowds, great weather. I've been watching the results on Twitter and videos when someone posts them. Looked like last night had some outsiders come in - Larson, Rico, Kahne, Bell, Reutzel.
Happy for you folks back there - hope everyone is having fun.

Yes....so far there has been surprise winners, drama and decent weather....Tonight is a good one @ Grandview Speedway. Usually the best race of the week. A packed grandstand, $10,000 to win and the best support class of the entire week in the 358 Small Block Modifieds (Grandview's weekly headline division). Kyle Larson has won the last two Speedweek shows at Grandview.

As much as I love the modifieds, I have to disagree. Port on Wednesday night has the best support class of the week in the URC Sprint Cars. As usually happens probably see some 410 guys pull double duty. Not sure if they will but usually Wolfe, Smith, Buckwalter and others run both when they are at Port so we shall see. But I'll be at Port (x2) & Grandview so I'll be happy at both places.

I drove in from Ohio last year for the USAC Eastern Storm, and I gotta agree - waching the 358s at Grandview as the support division was awesome. I love the way those guys lean on each other and muscle those cars around. Plus, as much as I love sprint cars, I still think dirt modifieds are the best looking cars on dirt.

It has been a great week so far. Seeing Brian win last night and how he and the whole 21 team handled themselves made me even more of a fan than I already was. Looking forward to the rest of the week. Tonight will probably be the best show. Always is. Can't beat Grandview.

Mediocrity has been a valid argument in the past. Not so this year.

This is the first year in a long time that PA Speedweeks has clearly been better than Ohio. A lot of that can be attributed to weather but the Atomic deal was bush league too.
I’m glad more outsiders are coming this year.

Speedweek is better because of Larson, Bell, Reutzel, Rico and the likes. Those guys are great competition and make everyone bring their A-Game or else.....

No doubt it's nice to have Larson, Bell, Reutzel, Rico and others participating in speedweek. However, there have been far too many accidents taking out the top cars. We have four races left. I hope all 4 are incident free. Surviving to win a race is not what the fans or drivers want to see. I've been very disappointed with this years speedweek despite some good racing in between the carnage.

I went to both "Groves" & 2nd Lincoln race. It was fun, but my only gripe is not a whole lot of passing for the lead ( Monteith passed on 10th lap) Good battles for 2nd, tho....
If I had known about Larson & Bell coming, I might have scheduled my trip differently
But thats the way it goes, not every sporting event is a thrilla

The most dissapointing thing that is going to come out of this Speedweek is with two races left at Port Royal and one at Grandview and one at the Grove Lance and the 69k are going to win the title going away despite skipping a race ,should be some kind of bonus for the teams that make every race.
The wrecks at Grandview and Selinsgrove will cost Freddie since he is not on his best tracks same for the two Deitrich wrecks.
Lucas still has a chance but will have to step up.
Not a fan of any but hope the rain doesnt end up deciding it.

Adding driversisted above of course add to the show but what is with Rico? A few years ago he was always in the top 10 maybe 5 everywhere he went. Now you have to look at qualifying times to see if he attended. I have read a bit about an accident a yr or 2 ago, has this slowed him down or is it a crew situation?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Where did you get your chrystal ball? or is it Ouija Board?
Lance is 4th in points right now... are you sure he's even racing next events?
No telling what happens next few races

I think Port has the best support division of the week on Saturday night - Rt. 35 super late model challenge. URC is a shell of it's former self, 10 cars at Bedford last week.

Not sure if the accident has anything to do with it, but I'd bet his split with Paul Silva did.

Rico’s crew is very young and relatively inexperienced in a division which rewards experience. He’s getting faster as they learn. Give them some time.
