Let's see if I'm keeping track of things correctly:

Donny Shatz - Going to TSR / sponsored by Armor All

Joey Saldana - No changes as of yet?

Danny Lasoski - Rumor that Roth will not field a WoO team for 2008? What does this mean for the Dude in 2008?

Jason Meyers - No changes as of yet?

Daryn Pittman - No changes as of yet?

Steve Kinser - No changes as of yet?

Craig Dollansky - Rumor that Karavan is no longer a part of the team and Craig will field his own car? Will he run WoO?

Paul McMahan - Out of the TSR 20 car, not signed by another car owner yet.

Tim Shaffer - No changes as of yet?

Jason Solwold - Out of the R19 car, not signed by another car owner yet.

Jac Haudenschild - Driving the R19 car for 2008

Terry McCarl - Signed a new deal with Big Game Tree Stands, running tour in 2008 & 2009

Kerry Madsen - Rumor that Selma Shell will not field a WoO team for 2008? What does this mean for Kerry in 2008? RUMOR MILL has him going back to the TK Concrete 55 car and running Knoxville.

Jason Sides - No changes as of yet?

Randy Hannagan - No changes as of yet?

Justin Henderson - Oswald team says they will be back for 2008. Nothing solid on whether Justin will drive though.

Chad Kemenah - Will drive the 8K car again in 2008 on WoO tour

Jeremy Campbell - No changes as of yet?

Sam Hafertepe - No changes as of yet?

Chad Hillier - No changes as of yet?

Tony Bruce Jr. - No changes as of yet?

Brooke Tatnell - Drove the Volcano Joe's #2 car, but late in the season the Volcano Joe's team took a brief hiatus from the WoO. Was also not in attendance at Charlotte. What does this mean for 2008?

Kraig Kinser - Driving the TSR #20 car

Lucas Wolfe - Reported to be putting together a 2008 WoO team.

Danny Smith - Announced that he has funding together for a 2008 WoO team.

Shane Stewart - Reported to be driving the Doyle's Harley Davidson car again in 2008 at the big $ shows. Trying to put together a deal with another team to fill his schedule and run a true outlaw style schedule. Good Luck Shane!

Lasoski was telling people in Charllotte that he'll be running his own deal at K'ville/Husets next year. I find that somewhat hard to believe.

I thought I heard the Dude say in victory lane after one of his wins in california that he was looking forward to next year with the Roth team.

rogue it is silly season take what you heard with a grain of salt. You may have to wait until next year to see who is going to be where. There are so many thing coming out you do not know what or who to believe.

I just thought it was relevant because that comment came after all the rumors about roth shutting down started.

I think drivers and race teams should be awfully fearful of Shane Stewart in the Doyles Car. When they race both the car and driver appear to be superior to everything else there. Other than the last lap at Little Rock - he was smashing the field. And he completed a thrashing of the field at the Knoxville 360 Nationals. He's gonna be threat to win against anyone - anywhere he goes. I love seeing teams put together a true outlaw schedule. I kinda think the Outlaws ain't the true outlaws anymore - but then again they do rack up the miles. I just think they rack a lot of those miles up unnecesarily - they could switch some race dates around and it would be a lot less miles - bu o well. Maybe it's also because it's running one series. I like seeing guys not stick to any one series but going and competing against many. Stewart did just that the last half of the year.

Sorry, not trying to degrade the effort and time WoO teams spend out on the road. More than any other series for sure.

I am glad to hear Danny Smith will be back out on the tour. When I was a younger Danny was one of my favorite drivers. He has had some really bad luck over the years and his personal life has been a tragic. Finally, something good happens to one of the really nice guys in sprint car racing.

I also have to agree with the post about Shane Stewart. He has been very, very fast with this H-D team. I would like to see Shane back out on the tour as well, but it looks as if they are set on running an "outlaw' type schedule again in 2008.

As always it will be exciting to see who all the new teams for 2008 will be. Jac going to the R19 is very exciting. They are going to get corporate support from Owens Corning and starting the year with 10 new maxims and 6 Capetta motors is strong! I sure would like to see Jac win another King's Royal and have a great season. He is one of the best at giving the fans their moneys worth!

There hasn't been a whole lot of talk about Chad Kemenah for 2008. I hear that he is supposedly staying with the 8K team for next year. Does anyone know if they are upgrading their equipment or are they still going to run the Triple XXX chassis? Anyone know what motors they ran last year? They seemed to be just a little behind on power everytime I saw them. One thing Chad was always known as was a great qualifier, and this year they just seemed to be a little slow. Plus, Chad's brother is one of the best wrenches out there and I am pretty sure he didn't have anything to do with the 8K team. Anyone know if Brian might work with them next year?

Hopefully Dollansky will be able to put something together for next year. I heard over a month ago that his partner was getting out and that Criag could be left out in the cold. Maybe he will be able to find some new "blood' for his team. I like to see guys like Craig (owner/driver) be able to compete at the highest level of our sports. If he can't find the necessary support, would he go back to running weekly at Knoxville?

What about Lasoski? People I have talked to keep telling me he is going to run his own deal in 2008. If he lands the right sponsorship it will be with the Outlaws, if not it will be Knoxville and most of the bigger races (like the old days w/Forbrook). Danny can still get it done, it just seems that everybody else has gotten better and now it seems as if he has lost a step. I don't think he is washed up just yet, but it will be very tough to duplicate his best seasons with the WoO!

KK and Tequilla Schatz on the same Tony Stewart Motorsports team! WoW! This team may be battling it out for the win on most nights next season. I really think Kraig will turn some heads next year. I think with his years of experience starting to add up, he will be very tough next year. I will say about 5-8 wins and top 4 in the points.

My real question for 2008 will be if the King has one more great year left in him? He has sort of stuggled (by his standards) the past couple of years and Donny has only gotten stronger. I think now that Steve won't be worrying about running two teams maybe his focus will be as strong as it used to be. The question is does he still have "IT" in him anymore? I would say this is probably his last chance to have a great year. I will go out on a limb and say that Steve picks off 10-14 wins in 2008 and finishes in the top 3 in the points. Better focus, ONE team, and the time clock ticking (age) will drive him to one last great year!

Still too early to make a championship predictions as we don't even know all the teams that will be competing in 2008 but the top 4 will probably be Donny, Joey, Steve, & Kraig in no peticular order.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. About three years ago he was saying he wasn't sure how much longer he wanted to be on the road. He was already talking then about only running a few more years on the tour and then getting back to just running Husets, Knoxville, and a couple of the big shows so he could be home more. We will have to wait and see!!

Heard they built a new shop somewhere between Zimmerman and Princeton. Now that there's word he's going to be running his own deal the shop here in MN makes a whole lot more sense.

I saw somewhere that McCarl isn't running the entire WoO tour as his boy is gonna race anjd he wants to be around for that so he will be spending some weekends locally running K-Ville and Husets also.

McCarl is running the entire schedule for at least two more years. Big Game Tree stands has signed on to sponsor TMAC to run the WoO tour for 2008 & 2009.
