What was his mechanical failure last night?
As far as the point lead change, if this happens many times this summer it is only good for the sport. The more often the better. I'm personally glad to see the parity in the teams, Ascoc are looking pretty tight too.
If they are gonna call Ricky the next 3 months is when you would want him.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Those championships are a testimony to hard work, talent, and a lot of luck over the years. Ain't saying it's going to happen because he'll prove me wrong in the stretch but one of these years he's bound to not catch as many breaks.

Still a Chevy for now, but supposedly the Ford is coming.

It's been coming for what?, two years now? three? I'm sure glad I ain't paying the R&D bill.
It's 1985-ish all over again.
Speaking of the R&D bill. Think motors are expensive now? Just wait til it finally does come, and very likely wins as you can bet your a$$ that the 15 car ain't bringing it out til it can - and often. Your $60,000 motors will then be $80,000 - unless Ford or someone subsidizes the cost....and guess what happens the the "Chevies"
Bob Fetter and Casey Luna spent a fortune. I'm rather confident that Bob Fetter was spending pretty darn close to twice what the Chevy guys were spending.
Disclaimer: I'm not anti-Ford. A good brand rivalry would be a good thing - if not for the cost.
Been here before. Can't imagine the outcome will be different.
Didn't the same thing happen with the Mopars - price went up for everybody?
