Here's Pittman's new color scheme for Roth. Hoping others will share what they find. Can't say I'm a big fan of the blue. Liked the monochrome of the old Great Clips car the most.

Kasey in the 9?
I guess it doesnt really matter whether it's the 4 or the 9...but great to see a sponsor on that car!
As for the others...
Sweet: about the same.
Reutzel: UPGRADE, as I don't care for black cars, and his white outline on the sponsor works a TON better than last year, when the white part was just the 87. Like it a lot.
McMahan...meh. about the same. And yes, I'm biased to black.
Pittman/Roth: Love it. A bit of a 'throwback' to what they posted on social media about their favorite car through the years. Love it.
DD: always classy, in my opinion. Another classic look. Hope to see him at a track this year.
Moving forward, and beign from WI...interested in more IRA news...Rhine Auto? Who is in that car? the Hood car (10w) is gonna be Schultz perhaps? Any insights from the Hosehead forum on IRA news?

That DD car is hawt.
Almost looks like Blackbeard is running out of ideas on some of these. The 83 looks like what I would imagine someone mocking a Blackbeard scheme would come up with.
KKR has had some questionable sponsors on the 9 this upcoming year and past. Wicked Gum appears to be a startup by the Wicked Cushion company. Not sure how they have the funds to make this stuff work. Selling merch can only take you so far. Also ionomy. A gaming platform built around microtransactions sounds pretty awful, plus any company registering in the Republic of Cheyelles raises flags from the get go.

The Roth car by blackbeard appears to be paying tribute to some of the earlier Roth paint schemes. I think he nailed it. Much better then the usual random triangles and rectangles he does lol.

I actually don't hate it, just think something looks wrong on the hood of the design. It's like the side view and top view can't possibly line up given where the white/blue are in each image.

I'd have to agree with those who have said Blackbeards stuff is getting tiresome. The 83 is a refreshing design from him, shows they know there are other shapes than triangles with hard edges. Give me the simple schemes of what seems like eons ago. That being said, I'm not from Posse country so don't follow a lot of stuff out there but DD's 48 is classy, cars sponsored by Weikerts were meant to be red white and blue.

The Roth car, i'm sure, is a throwback, based on their twitter feed. I like it.
Being kind of traditional...I love flames and the Rico 24 wwas probably my favorite in recent years..and I think Blackbeard did that too.
But otherwise I agree...lots of triangles and romboids and not all that much originality.
Nonetheless...he has talent and I'd LOVE to have that job! Congrats to him for living a true dream job!

Regarding the Blackbeard thing, I think I've said here before, "If you've seen one, you've seen 94% of his designs." That being said, I have like quite a few of his schemes. I like the Pittman/Roth one...... the color scheme looks just like a pair of Asics wrestling shoes I used to have.
Dietrich's looks the best though. Clean, pleasant, distinctive. Kinda like a pint of Bells Two Hearted.

I guess I should have prefaced my comments above , because you said it much better. I wasn't saying I disliked his schemes as, like you stated, I have liked the vast majority of them. But, much like you said Johnny, it's easy to look at a new design and say it's a Blackbeard design because they , for the most part, don't vary a lot. I think that's why I do like Pittmans a lot as its a slight departure from the Blackbeard norm.

Either it's Blackbeard's 'lead' or it's just the trend...but the edgy angles and triangles/rombus look is ever present on TMac's car as well. My dad once told me a Stingray never will go out of style, because "Curves don't age"...and a Lamborghini? Those sharp edges date it to the 80's.
Just a thought...
I actually like the TMac car...a bit surprised they didnt keep the 24. Hope to see him in Wisconsin this year!

With all of the tilted sponsors on the bodies of cars anymore, I want to see a paint scheme go competely absurdist and just put the lettering between a 77 and 86 degree angle. Or better yet, flip it completely upside down.
I'm half joking of course....
