Kasey Kahne posted a nice thank you to Daryn for his time and efforts. Interesting thing that was written was written in the thank you was that due to himself (Kasey) transitioning to WoO he could not fund 3 teams. I kind of take this that Kasey is running full time Outlaw as well

If Kasey is going to race full time WOO he will do only so so..Daryn is a better driver and will have more success than Kasey..He's been out of it too long and I personally don't think his talent is as good as he thinks..Hope he does well though..

I just hope Roth doesn't pull him off the tour by June like he's been know to do.

I think he'll win a race here and there. I was actually quite impressed at how well he ran last year (other than Nationals) as he got more and more races under his belt.
However, you are correct---Daryn is better.

As we all know has happened in the past. Looks like Daryn brought some sponsors so he should stay all season

Great to hear this news yesterday!! He’s too good to be out of a WoO ride. Good luck to the 83 ride next year!

I wouldn't write KK off yet, not that anyone has or is, but I think after a half-year with the WoO, he will get used to racing with that caliber of drivers and teams on a regular basis, something he's never done. He will definitely take the number one spot in merchandise sales from you know who, even if he has a slow start with the sprint car stars. I mean, look at the # 1 merchandise sales leader in Nascar for umpteen years, junior, and his very limited success. Since Junior's Nascar career started, only one year that Gordon won this unofficial "title", Junior has won them all, until his retirement. Name helps, and the name Kasey Kahne will sell a ton of merchandise. anyone guess at what the WoO merchandise sales leaders put in their pocket.
What ever happened to the WoO's idea to take control of merchandise sales and split the money. Bet it went down the toilet pretty quick.

Actually I hope Kahne falls flat on his ass! On the other hand I wish Pittman all the best.

Why, because he wants to run Sprint Cars full time and doesn't have the budget for three cars. I really don't think Pittman would begrudge him that. If there were enough sponsor money to go around there would be three full time cars and Pittman would still be in one. They were struggling for sponsorship this year as it was.

I know everyone has the right to their own opinions, and we all have the right to disagree with others opinions. But this statement falls under the “Well that’s the dumbest thing I’ve read all day” category. Just think....had Kasey not been in the sport at all several top drivers wouldn’t be where they are or reached the heights of their careers....just think of the number of wins between Joey Saldana, Brad Sweet and Pittman in KKR cars. those Are some potent names, let alone others. So Kasey has changed direction and wants to play in the dirt a bit and , like successful people do, has penciled out the numbers and realized that, to not risk his future he can only put two cars on the track....someone has to go and the 49 is fully funded as well as gelling quite well, won the Nats and looks to be the main contender to even have a prayer at knockI gotta off the 15 in ‘19. Will Kasey do as good as Pittman....more than likely not. but It appears the boss man wants to play a bit and he knew his financial capabilities. I’m guessing if before Pittman was released ya wrote a check to put Blazer Industry on the wing of the 9 it wouldn’t be an issue.

He can root for anybody he wants to, no "right or wrong" to it
He didn't say Kahne was a bad person or he wanted to see him wreck. just that he wanted Pittman to do better
Big deal.....

"Falls flat on his ass . . . . ."
Has to be the worst and dumbest (both categories) statement anyone has ever made on this forum. Think of what the guy has done for open wheel racing and continues to do!! I'll guarantee you that Pittman would be the first person to criticize that statement as strongly as possible without offending his own mother. Sure KK is wealthy, but he has to be smart about spending his money and if he wants to race sprint cars, his first love, good grief man, more power to him, let him enjoy the fruits of his labor and hopefully do very well at it. Nitwits like that need to stay in their mothers basement.

Respect for what you have to say most of the time, but I have a feeling you might want to rethink this response.
Is there some other exctenuating circumstance that makes you feel this way that we are unaware of?

Hoping that Kasey Kahne falls flat on his ass because he's not funding a car for someone else out of his own pocket. That might be the best comment from you since saying the trophy cup and Tulare sucked!
Thanks Kasey for spending millions and millions of dollars buying things that keep the everyday joes that make sprint car products putting food on the table.

He didnt say he wished him harm in any way, just that he would fall on his ass. And thats one of the dumbest comments on here? Guess some of ya havent read any thread pertaining to Sammy. I applaud KK for doing what he has done for open wheel racing. Only interactions Ive had with him was when he was a kid and he acted like a spoiled rich kid then. Obviously that was 20 years ago and Im sure he has matured. Glad he is still fielding cars and has a passion for sprint cars. Best of luck to both parties moving forward.
