Joey Saldana drove the Rudeen car in 2018. This announcement leaves two questions: 1. What’s Saldana doing in 2019? 2. Who’s going to take over driving duties of the Dennis Roth owned car that Eliason drove last season?

“As of right now we don’t know (the schedule). There are a couple of options we’re going to explore,” Eliason said. “Obviously there is Outlaws, there is All Stars. I’m going to say we might do more of a true outlaw style schedule like I did this year again. All three of them have kind of been talked about, so we’re just going to have to wait and see.”

This Speedsport article touches on the Roth stuff and how the deal came together a bit. Sounds like maybe a true Outlaw schedule, but they're not sure yet.

Does this open the door for A KKR AND ROTH Team like they did with Mcmahon a few years ago?
Alot of really top talent out their without rides if Heffner is going to have a car now would be the time he would probably have his choice of several drivers.
Pittman,Saldana,Parker Price ,the Selzies, and maybe even Mcmahon.

I believe Paul is driving the Tom Buch #13 on the All Star series next year.
Proudly supports:
Logan Seavey, Corey Day and "Big Sexy" Brandon Overton

Good news for Daryn. If Roth wants to run any type of traveling schedule in 2019, Daryn Pittman is #1. Best available. Top of Mel Kipers Big Board. Etc etc. You get the point. It's crazy that the guy even has to think about where he's gonna be next year.

How about it. Former champion still in his prime coming off yet another solid season and he's in the situation he's in. Pretty crazy. Just goes to show how tough it can be to make it as a professional sprint car driver even after you've risen to the elite level of the sport.

Welp that didn't take long. Seemed like the logical choice and Dennis Roth ain't no dummy. Happy for Daryn.

Our own Willie Croft from Sacramento won the 2018 Trophy Cup in the Rudeen 26 ride. Not the first win at the Trophy Cup for them. Here's the kicker, Kevin gave Willie the car...................WOW!
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

Curious if Rudeen/Eliason actually run the full ASCoC schedule. Last year they were "members" of ASCoC and WoO to start the season. Im guessing it was just for the tow money and provisionals for the short amount of time they planned to run, FL and CA swing... I may be wrong but I don't believe Rudeen had any intention to run either series fulltime. Hope thats not the case in 2019.

I would say that they are running the full schedule this year as per both their twitter and Cory Eliason's account it says they are running the series and competing for the championship. I would say that as of not the intention is to run the full schedule.

Ahhhh. I see they made a point to say "compete for a championship" so people didn't have the exact same thought I initially had. Awesome news... I was worried when reutzal, macedo, and kemenah left... but appears the allstars are reloading up for another strong season with Eliason, Bayston, and Zearfoss. Still hoping Wilson and Kinser run the tour.

I was of the same opinion after this year about the All Stars but in the past week has me looking forward to this season again. Currently have Eliason, Bayston, Zearfross, and Mcmahon confrimed and hoping the same about Wilson, Kinser, and even Jac potentially finding the funding for this year as well.
Still waiting to hear about the 7K and if Cale Conley will be in it, if Blaney will run the whole tour again, along with Tyler Esh. I don't know what the story is with the McGhee 11 car, but with Ryan Smith announced the driver for the Heffner 27, maybe that is a car for possibly Kemenah or Blaney? Maybe Kemenah can run his own stuff if he still has it?

Cant remember who or what thread it was in... but someone said at the banquet it sounded like Conley and Spithaler were returning. Did McMahan or the team announce this on twitter? I mustve missed that one too.

As far as McMahon goes, I know that they had said that the plan was to run the whole tour again but I can't remember if that was before or after the unfortunate news about his wife's diagnosis (which we are all sure she we beat). I do not know if plans have changed because of this or not.
Good news on Conley and Spithaler. You add in guys like Tim Shaffer, Cole Duncan, Lee Jacobs, Travis Philo, and other travelers that will probably be a majority of the shows in Ohio and this season should be a fun competitive season.
