Taking a look at the WoO stats and specifically the EARNINGS column makes one realize how expensive maintaining and campaigning a full time WoO ride is. I have heard several mention over the years being a full time Outlaw has the benefits of getting the "Tow Money" to offset travel expense. Does anybody know how much that tow money is? Per event? per Mile? Just curious...

I have heard it’s $500 per show and free pit passes. Not sure if it’s changed over the years or not.

Pretty sure tow money is $800 for WoO and $500 for ASCoC... But I think the ASCoC tow money decreases the farther down you are in the points standings.

ASCOC is $300 and yes is tiered/decreases down based on owner points, although late in the year as they have some cars inevitably drop off tour sometimes that $300 goes through spot 10 in points.

1 million gets you on the road for a full year on the WoO. Top driver top equipment. You commit to running the series and you get free pit passes, 1200.00 tow money. Bobby Allen turns silver into gold.

It’s 700 a show for the late model tour, that’s pretty obvious because they add the tow money to the total driver winnings in the results page on their website.
Its pretty good money for the top 10 in points too, 150k for 1st, 75k for 2nd and around 30k for 10th.

Bobby Allen said on the OpenRed podcast this week they get $500 per car, per event. He gets $1000 because of his two cars. They use one trailor for both cars to save even more money.

I could be wrong but I believe they only get tow money for 1 night if it is a multi day show at the same track.

WoO: platinum members (100 percent traveling team).
Top 10 in points receive $500 for first day/$250.00 for remaining days of event.
In the past it’s been more.
11th and back in points receive $400 for first day/$200 for remaining days of event.
X number of free pit passes and then discounted passes for platinum members.
Any driver/team that takes a lap in a heat race will receive $150.

Needless to say it costs just to get to the races. The loyalty of the 15 or so? full time members is crutial to the series. The makes it much better than the standard $10K to win most shows except big ones or preliminary nights. If you attend a cetain % of races at Knoxville their contingency and payback is as good as any
