Winged Nation just tweeted out Daryn is trying to put something together to run WoO next year. Is KKR downsizing?

Jeremy Elliott made a similar tweet also. Not sure what all this means but maybe we have to read between the lines. Daryns stuff might turn into Kaseys stuff real quick. It's his team and his money so we gotta respect whatever decisions he makes. But damn what a travesty it would be if Daryn has to start calling around for a ride this offseason. After a 10 win year. Guys like Daryn, you want nothing but the best for him. Imo he deserves it.

Well that would suck but me thinks there is a certain #27 who tragically lost it's driver, that Mr. Pittman is quite familiar with. Just sayin.......

From what it sounds like, Daryn is either out of a KKR ride, or trying to find a spnsor to keep his seat with the 9 car. If you noticed any pit area pictures at Charlotte, they only had two of the big rigs at the track. Brads and Daryn's. Kasey's wasnt there so it may have been sold or maybe im reading into things too much. Hopefully Daryn finds something somewhere. Hate to see the last champion beside Donny not have a ride.

without the nascar paychecks coming in he probably decided he was not going to fund the team with his own money.

I think he’s got the ride if there’s funding, he talked a bit about it this year where Kasey had committed to a keeping the car out for a year without major funding but no more, it would be interesting to see how a Pittman/Heffner schedule would work if that’s what ends up happening.

I don't see him in the 27 I can't remember where I heard him say this but he said in an interview that he almost quit racing when he was in PA last time. The only way I see the 27 work for him if they would run a Shaffer type schedule.
I also remember him saying after one of his wins this year that he's hoping they can get funding so he can stay in the 9 next year. It would be a shame to see that team split up especially how they finished the season. And as far as Kahne is concerned he said he's only running 50 races .

KKR is based in Mooresville so why run s big rig only 20 miles when you already have 2 there.

Would you please stop incorporating common sense and logical thoughts into the threads. You are destroying all the conspiracy theorists' fun.

He's won 4 races since the end of August. I'd hardly call that fading.

He finished 4th in points, just like this year.
Sounds like you've got some Ricky Bobby going on. If you're not first, you're last. Or might as well be?
Are you trying to make an argument that Pittman hasn't shown enough in the past two years to be worthy of sponsorship? Perhaps I don't understand. What point are you trying to make?
There could be any number of salient and logical arguments that would cause Pittman to lose his ride, but statistical analysis of his points and wins aren't one of them. If you use this argument, how many drivers are worthy of sponsorship other than Donny? That's going to make for a pretty boring tour. Hell, there would be no tour.

Yeah ok dont have to be a tool about it. I even admitted in my origional post that it could mean absolutely nothing, but they have taken all three rigs to charlotte before. Again, as i stated origionally, I was potentially reading too much into it.

Don't feel sorry for Kasey, though I really do thanks to him being a great guy and a promoter of sprint car racing. Forbes has his net worth as of 2017 at $50 million and listed his salary for 2017 at $11.4 million, one of eleven Nascar drivers that earned more than $10 million in 2017. That's salary, merchandise, race winnings, endorsements, etc. No doubt a fairly big pay cut after leaving Hendricks to Leavine Family Motorsports.
That said, hope we don't lose even one of Kasey's sprint car teams.
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.
