Just saw on Twitter that Gravel does not have plans to race Nascar. He wrote a very classy letter about the mutual split, and said he should know in the next week his plans for next year. Should be interesting as rumors had been going about Nascar. Wonder what other rumors might get busted

Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in the Destiny car.

Hmmm I don't think Gravel would touch the Destiny ride, plus it appears as if that ride requires bringing some stuff to the table whether it be engines, etc. and I don't believe David has ever been in a "bring stuff to the table" situation (possibly when he had the Bill Rose ride but I honestly don't remember and don't think that was the case). I think the Destiny ride is for younger guys who can also bring something to the table (Like PPM and Brock have done) or older drivers who may be close to out of options. I'm not talking poorly about that ride even though it seems I am, I'm glad there is another car/owner who puts a sprint car on the track.

I can’t see Gravel going anywhere near that car. I think it’s great that they put a car on the track too but what I don’t understand is how a team like that (or bww) can spend so much money and still be so bad. There are virtually no rides left anymore yet there are big name guys who would rather sit out than run the destiny car. I thought it was great that they gave Paul some time in that ride but they still couldn’t make much of anything happen. It seems to be cursed.

Yeah I thought there was more drama with Zearfoss running in the 3z this weekend. Apparently Destiny just didnt want to make the trip to Port? Anyways... Gravel and Haudesnchild are the only drivers to be fast in the Destiny car. McMahan, PPM, Hagar all struggled.
While Zearfoss has shown speed... has he truly been in Destiny equipment this season? From the looks of it, it seems like he just changed his number and threw a sticker on his top wing.

Yep it's Brock's equipment with Destiny backing/crew help. Not sure what occured this wknd but Destiny was scheudled to go (per team press release), then closer to race day Brock tweeted a cryptic image of just a 3z and was in his own "numbered" car, but Shane Bowers was still turning the wrenches. No idea what that was about.

Well, didn't Gravel run the Destiny car before he got the CJB ride for a little while (I think it was after he first was out of the Roth car).

Yep he did, but I was referring to NOW. Not the past. The Destiny ride at that juncture was still somewhat in its infancy and I believe that was the first year on the WoO tour or maybe 2nd after making the jump from All Stars.

Correct. Was let go from Roth at the beginning of 2015 and was picked up by Destiny a couple hours later. And since you mentioned Roth, I could actually see him going back there as well if Roth is willing to go full time again. The ever revolving door that Roth has but a lot of factors go into that. Does Eliason stay, does he run 3 cars with Hirst doing the local scene??
