I usually can find the team and driver roster. Anybody got it. Ok my bad. I found it on trophycup.org
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Austin McCarl added in the 5V.
Two more additions likely but not yet confirmed.

I saw that date as well, but that is straight from the trophycup website.
If there is an updated list somewhere else please post for us.
Thanks.

Would the additional significant driver be a result of the early cancellation of the ASCS at Devil's Bowl?

Just a minute ago the text arrived that Blake Hahn will be in the X1jr.
However, that is not the "significant" driver as that one goes back to last week.

I'd think that trying to get Hafertepe, who I'd call a 360 ace, or the rocket Roger Crockett, who does well at the Trophy Cup, to be your driver would be no brainiers. Sammy would also be free and a proven commodity.

I'd luv to see Sammy there.....he would be very entertaining, given the inversion format
I'd go to this every year if I had unlimited time & $$$.... or until I got tired of wrecks & yellows

Kasey Kahne

I had considered him as well, but I figured as a contract driver that's not medically cleared to race NASCAR, that'd keep him out of the seat of a sprinter as well. Some other possible canidates- Chad Kemenah, Paul McMahan, Dave or Dale Blaney or a Posse guy, but I'd think they'd all be preping for the WoO and the Tuscarora 50 next week. Of course there is one more NASCARish guy not driving this week- Tony Stewart!?!

In his announcement Kahne mentioned due to shorter races and open cockpits he would be cleared to race sprint cars. Sounds like his body was overheating due to long races and high temps inside of stock cars. Good for us dirt fans.

was supposed to be in BK's 69, decided not to come, saw Carrick was to jump in, but read he's racing midgets in the midwest, so not sure about all of that. This is one of the cool things about this event, the various surprise show-ups, especially now that Devils Bowl cancelled. Heading over from central coast tomorrow, should be good!
