Chili Bowl is like the Boone Supernationals, they payoff is horrible, racers and fans show up to make money for the promoters and have the "prestige" of being the winner of the event. Both those events will get 100's of entries despite the hideous payoff.
The other threads on here about Williams Grove's big event paying $4000 for 4th and Perris's big event paying 2500 for 4th, those events do not get near as many cars.... and until they get with the picture on payoffs they never will
