I heard this rumor at Port Royal Saturday night. It came from somebody who follows the All Stars.
In 2019, Carson Macedo will pilot the Kyle Larson #2, driven this year by Shane Stewart.
Stewart will then move to the JJR #41. Could be interesting if true.

Would make sense with how close Shane and family are with the Johnson family and Phil Dietz (and indirectly some of the sponsors on the JJR 41). Kind of got the feeling his time was close to being up with with #2, but Shane can still get it done. If this transpires it'd be a good move on both fronts and keep both cars on the tour (not that there was fear the KLR #2 would be off tour even if they switched drivers, but it keeps the JJR 41 on tour).

His driver skills are without question, but the grind of a full season is still the most difficult thing to get through for new drivers to the tour. That and so many different track conditions and setups.

I think that could be possible but I think it might be more likely that Carson is in the 41 with Tarlton &Son,,,Myers Construction and a few others as sponsers.......JJR has close ties with Jason Myers also and he is i think helping manage Carsons Career then again speculations here ,,

From what i understood at Port Royal, it is confirmed outside of press release. Carson is indeed in the #2 for KLR next year, and word has him in the car at the World Finals in Charlotte. I think he is a great young shoe, just not sure he is ready for the rugged and tough WoO trail. He may prove me wrong though. Will be interesting to see what happens with Shane, i dont see the 41 on the tour full time but again i might be proved wrong.

Was beginning to wonder about the 2. Not alot of results for a good team. Would Carson bring money to the ride? Not that they need it, just wondering. I think Logan S would be good in that ride, but since I dont own it it dont matter what I think haha.

Carson could certainly bring Tarlton and even Jason Meyers $ on board as I'm sure he will. He's also pretty tight with Eagle Leads, so there's another sponsor.

He's as ready as any young guy out there in my opinion. The competition he's been running against while racing with and winning against with the All Stars isn't quite WoO caliber but it's still extremely tough as proven by their recent success in PA. He got off the porch at a young enough age where he didn't learn a bunch of bad habits racing the same tracks all the time and he's going to be with a good team. He has already proven that he can go to a track that he hasn't seen before or has very few laps at and be a contender. As long as they're willing to stick it out through his growing pains, I think he'll be a contender relatively soon.

Shane Stewart will be in a car you will not expect him to be in next year on the Outlaw tour.

But Gravel has still had a way better year than Shane has.

Is this a guess or real info? Do tell! I don't see cjb letting go of gravel at this time I wouldn' think it would be the 5 car.

And I should state this since I hate rumors,. I heard this particular one from a vendor selling diecast cars at Knoxville who said that he supposively heard this from the team. I told him that I remembered an article from earlier this year that was published, that Gravel had said he was interested in Nascar but nothing else had come out of it. He replied that well he told me he was going, which again I only take at face value.
It seemed like one of those this person thinks they no something kind of things.

The one thing that comes to my mind about the 2 team, is the amount of different chassis this team has run? I know they have run Cool XXX, RPM, now Eagle. That’s a lot of switching? It’s hard to get consistent when your making so many changes with teh chassis!? JMO
