There were a couple good Ray Everham shows on NBCSN Sunday night. One show had one of David Pearson's restored cars. His cars had cigarette lighters and he would fire up a smoke during cautions. I love seeing the old NASCAR footage when the cars looked like the ones on the road. The other show was about the NASCAR & dirt track history and relationship. It was great to see sprint cars featured on "normal" TV. The show ended with Ray saying something like - "There are dirt tracks all around the country. There is probably one near you and you never know when a NASCAR guy is going to show up and win". Ray is right because that is exactly what I recently witnessed.
