Completely missed this - Chris Martin failed tests 8/9 and 8/10 at Knoxville for anyone wondering. Seems this one didn't have near the media coverage Justin Peck's did.
Somewhat interesting he ran the ASCS race 8/18 at Webster City - WRG press release didn't appear to be out at that point, so I would guess that information isn't shared between the series? Not sure it would matter with ASCS - a quick perusal of the rulebook on their website makes zero mention of drugs or alcohol.

Wow I completely missed this too...Hmm sometimes I have "Nationals hangover" where I need like a week or two to decompress. Must've missed this, but you're right it did not get anywhere close to the media attention Peck did (his was admittedly the first suspension so it received a good amount of media attention).

Yeah that Bloomquist deal was a joke. Goes back to his hauler and slips and falls then just leaves and heads to the hospital. The next day they let him come back and race without testing and he won. I had read something about a torn rotator cuff but in victory lane he puts both arms up in the air over his head. BS.

Yeah he said he was going to have surgery, and give his ride to Kyle Bronson for the rest of the season...a few weeks later oh it was just arthritis..and aparently he pissed off Bronson enough to dump all his Bloomquist Chassis stuff and go back to Rocket.

It was the a few weeks later at the firecracker in Lernersville when he was picked to give a sample that he never gave one despite plenty of time to do so plus the officials reminded him several times to do so. I have no respect for blooomer definitely not the goat of late models in m mind not even close!

Tore a rotator cuff while playing baseball and didn't have surgery. Didn't have complete motion of the right arm (throwing) for more than two weeks.
