I forgot to say that I am very impressed with what you have accomplished in your young life! Keep hustling and don't take things too personally, in life and in your business world. I got lucky over the years in a few different phases, but nothing was as much fun as a kid from a small village in Canada getting to see a thousand + sprint car races for free, lol...

The Posse can't compete on the road with the Outlaws, never have been able to. A few ex-Outlaws turned Posse have some wins, but overall very few. Take the Grove out of the equation and the Posse is nothing special at home, to be honest. Double D won a couple of Lincoln races but the Outlaws won about 90% over the years. Heck the top Outlaw race winners at the Grove are Steve, Schatz, Mark K. and Sammy and it's not even close. I could go on and on but Supper is waiting....Oh yeah, I have been saying for about 10 years that CA is far ahead of PA in producing Outlaw caliber racers and it's become more obvious with each season....These are simply facts not opinion....

The Grove is here though, and if you take Central PA as a whole there is no region that competes like PA.
As far as the CA argument, I agree. I think it was on here I argued with someone from PA about this earlier this season. The top end talent coming from CA is crazy. Larson, Eliason, Macedo, and Gio are top shelf drivers for sure. Nobody in PA is on the level of Larson (only one state can claim a driver better than him in my opinion). Eliason, Macedo, and Gio are every bit as good as most of the drivers in PA, and will only get better because CA does not have the purses that PA does which will force those drivers out on the road sooner.
It takes a lot for PA guys to leave PA because we have so much racing and money to win here and that certainly hurts them over all. As far as depth I don't think CA is close to PA. Past the top 5 or so drivers in each region the talent gap starts to get really big. That is what PA has on everyone. It's easy for the top 5 local guys to have a bad night, but on most nights there are 5 more who are almost as good who might be running up front in their place. That is why the Posse maintains such a good record against the touring series IMO. CA only has those top 5-6 guys who can give the Outlaws all they want and then some, but beyond that it starts to drop off pretty quick.
That is probably because CA does not have much 410 racing going on, if they did they would definitely be pumping out talent faster than they are now.
Just my opinion of course.

Winning locally for years is like winning a high school bb game in your 20's. You need to get out and be competitive and I hate to be the first to tell you this but the Posse hasn't ever been competiitve on the road except for Stevie Smith, the G-Man eventually would have, he was a great guy with a great future. The CA guys went on the road and they won, not just todays guys but others like Tim Kaeding and Jason Myers plus many, many non-wing guys as well. You need to spread your wings a bit and open your mind even more to see what is really out there as there is soooo much more than Central PA. Young Freddie and Zearfoss might be your next two stars on the road but it's pretty empty after that, it is also way tougher on the road than you understand, it seems. Again, good luck with your racing and your other endeavours in the sport....

This is such a joke. I'm not even a big time Posse guy, I was rooting for Reutzel all weekend but even last nights winner who I think is much more credible than you said that PA is the most talented regional area in the country. Macedo won after taking out the pole sitter at Lincoln, and then riding behind Rahmer for 27 laps until his engine went up.
Where were all these posts last season? You know when the Posse swept this entire weekend (Rahmer, Dietrich, Forsythe, Hodnett). How about earlier this season when the Posse swept the entire weekend at WG and Port (Dewease, twice). In fact it looks like the only night you missed making a post about this weekend was the Grove (when Posse won, twice). So far this season in Central PA the Posse is still winning against the All Stars 4-3 (assuming you decide to count Stewart as an All Star... which is debatable at best).
Make your case if you think the Posse is so bad, what area is better, why?

This Posse crap is really getting old. I live in Central PA. 2o min from Lincoln and the Grove,10 from Baps so its like Nirvina. When I go to races I hope for 2 things: #1everyone comes out alive and unhurt, #2 that whoever is racing they put on a good race. I really dont care if a guy from California wins or DD wins, just want good safe racing.

I you look at California and the young drivers coming out of there right now, and compare them to any other part of the country......PA, the Midwest, Ohio and elsewhere.....one thing stands out. Look at the financial background these kids are coming from. If they have that advantage that will explain alot. Same as Schatz! How many sons of millionaires or large family owned companies are driving sprint cars in PA?.....In IA?.....In MN?.......In SD?.....in OH? I know Brian Brown has a great soponsorship deal working for him.....but he isn't personally a millionaire or the son of a multi-millionaire. Donny Schatz is a great great driver, and many of the drivers coming out of CA seem to be on that path, too. But from the time they were shittin yellow they've probably had the best damn equipment money could by......from go karts to TQ to sprint cars. That folks is a hell of an advantage. The Juhl family......Matt started out racing go karts and they had to do some travelling of course to compete. I remember Matt's dad telling me way back then, that it got a little discouraging trying to compete against the likes of Kevin Swindell when it came to the equipment. Nothing against the Swindells, it was simply an advantage they held. That didn't stop the Juhls from keeping Matt going. And his second full year in a 410 he put it in the big show at the Nationals. They have invested a lot of their own money into that car.....but not to the level of the top dogs, for sure.
