No takers, hmmm. Freddie has been the star over the last three nights and with any luck at all he would have won again tonite. These things happen in racing, but he has proven himself over the last three nights to be amongst the top racers in the country....

He sure is coming along well. A damn good young talent for sure. Would be nice to see him get some exposure outside of PA.

Credit where crefit is due. Mercedo, Larson and Reutzel are superstars. It's a huge undertaking to perform that well with limited track experience How anyone not respect and appreciate Larson's love of racing. We are witnessing greatness in the same vein as yesteryear (race anything anytime)
Kudos also to Tony Stewart for turning the All Stars around with genuine talent andand a better format than the WOO.

He is doing quite well yes but lets look at the big picture of Fredie being one of the best in the country !!! racing well at your hometown tracks does not make you one of the best in the country in 3 nights of racing .. The Scelzi boys Macedo. Reutzel Eliason and a few others are doing well in lots of other places most quite far from there hometown tracks !!! I believe Fredie was out west last yr or the yr before at the trophy cup and never made it out of the B .....

He raced in the Trophy Cup either last year, or the year prior, I can't remember which.

The guy I've been impressed with since he did so well at Winter Heat a few years ago is Reutzel. That dude is fast wherever he goes. He comes in to PA and doesn't look at all like he has limited experience on these tracks. He's a superstar in the making.

Fred seems to have a developement plan in mind for Freddie and it seems to be working well. It was a while before fred would bring him to Port or Selinsgrove and then when he came he was ready for it. Now is where some are going to go balistic. Mercedo, larson an Reutzel are good in Pa. and a threat to win wherever they show up.I have seen them all race, If two of the three of them had raced in Pa. 10 or 12 years ago when the old guard was running well financed cars they would have only pulled some of the moves they make to get thur the field one time until they would have eating payback at the other end of the track. Those guys didn't start things but they usually left those did start something know that you don't do that at their house.

Is that why so many never travelled.....too rough on the road? Sorry, you forced me to ask. (sarcasm btw)

The original topic was Lincoln so I'll kinda stick to that. Pretty good race with the allstars representing themselves well, lots of fast posse cars also. I was hoping the 51 would win but I'll admit I'm kinda biased toward any Rahmer winning. I was glad that the lapped car # 48 didn't take out any of the lead cars while he was trying to do ....something but I'm not sure of what. The track was OK and the crowd was atleast as big as the Outlaw crowd earlier in the season. The racing was ok, same kind of stuff you get from most TT shows. I left the track feeling satisfied with that evening of racing.

Macedo & Reutzel are damn good, but hardly "superstars". That title is reserved for Larson & Schatz

I missed the whole Allstars tour cause of 50th HS Reunion. Hated to do that, but 50th is a once in a lifetime thing. Racing looked great in highlights, Reunion was fun, glad I went....
Was thinking about going to Susky/ BAPS tonite, but can't see driving 5 hrs. each way for one nite, even with Larson vs. Posse
Next up, Tusky 50 & National Open, & no excuses. I'm going

50th HS reunion? Damn Jim, you're getting up there. At your age shouldn't you be yelling at people for posting non-Sprint car related topics??
I kid... congrats.

In Canada we don't travel cause the road is too rough, not too rough on the road.
I would take your construction if you gave us your interstates!
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

First off, let me say I really like Freddie. The kid is damn GOOD, going to be a star for a long time. Yes he passed Larson, but it was on a track he is very familiar with. Now, if he can pass Larson at a "neutral" track, then I will agree with your point.
