With only 6-ish weeks left, it looks like a good time to call Dale Blaney. But I wouldn't doubt that Tom and Fran just park it.

That is what I do not like, Bowser leaving the 98 right before 4 race swing in Posse land! Instead of putting his big boy pants on he runs and hides!! From what I had heard and read he called the shots at the track! Why did he wait till the end of the year?

I agree with both of yinz Cody Bova is probably the best young up and comer in Western PA. I like the idea of Sharon and Lville banding together to do a FAST series type thing. Thats a good idea. Too bad Mercer is no more. Western PA is a strong sprint car demographic but it also shares that with big block modifieds and LM so it's a different animal from Central PA or OH. And above is correct in that there really aren't any big dollar owners like in Central PA.
I do worry a bit about the Tomson family but I think they're getting better at managing a racetrack then when they bought it. It began as a sort of "sure we have the money and it'd be fun to add a race track to our portfolio" deal but they have gotten better. Now if they could just understand how to cultivate the marketing partners aspect...

After witnessing the demise of Lernerville under the previous ownership, and how it is now, I wouldn't worry.
Silver Cup 2016 - Don Martin would have had his name removed from the signs
Silver Cup 2018 - Don Martin proud again

I was going to say something about him winning but wasn't going to feed the troll. I'd be able to type up his/her "reasons" or excuses Carl won, but I'll let him/her do it by himself/herself.
But, eh Carl bought a motor Thursday, borrowed a trailer Friday, raced Saturday and won. Thats pretty cool.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the results. Good for Carl being able to accomplish all of that in a short period of time. Not sure why people were bashing him about the 98. Sometimes things just don't work out and it does not mean any side is to blame. If things aren't working out it's best to go separate ways and not prolonge the pain. No reason to drag people through the mud when it's just the nature of the sprintcar industry
