Ratings have been updated post Knoxville Nationals. Also, I have added to the 'Misc Stats' section, detailed stats for series and tracks that run weekly.

Something must be missing in the data you are using. I doubt I'm alone when I say your results don't seem that accurate. Somewhere along the way you need to establish criteria for strenght of competition.

I most definitely factor in level of competition. Since I rank each race based on things like the ranking of drivers there, and the purse. I use those rankings, and a drivers average finish, wins, and money made in higher ranked races weight more than lower ranked races.
Case in point, is Jason Johnson's rankings. Last week, he was 6th, this week, he is 11th, and that’s not because he didn’t run. It's because I rank on only the last 2 calendar years (meaning, current ranking is from 08/14/2016 to 08/13/2018). So, the rankings last week, included his Knoxville Nationals win from 2016, and now this week, they are not included. That win alone is probably the main factor of his ranking being 6th (last week) and not 11th.
I never claim they are true reflection of who’s better and who’s not. You can argue all day long about anyone’s ranking, whether it be by someone opinion, or actual numbers. To me, it's just interesting to look at the numbers.

Fine, I do get that. But if a ranking doesn't differentiate the best from the rest what good is it? Dewease sure isn't number four, and K Madsen sure isn't number six. Lance Dewease winning $50,000 at the Tuscarora 50 ain't crap, except for the money. Who the hell did he beat....his homies and a few invaders? The strength of competion there doesn't at all compare to some of the $20,000 races elswhere. Neither of them are beating anybody of significance.

First off, this is awesome, and thank you again for doing this.
As a suggestion, I’d make the 2018 only page the default page. The summary of multiple years I suppose is interesting but not meaningful to the casual observer.
I’d also try to add point fund money to the yearly totals to give a more accurate picture of real earnings but that’s a minor point.
I assume the local track data doesn’t include the traveling series shows?

Boy you really don’t hide the fact that you are NOT a Dewease fan. Who did he beat? I’ll tell you who he beat. You’re boy K. Madsen, Brian Brown, Joey Saldana, Tim Shaffer, Brady Bacon, Chad Kemenah, Dave and Dale Blaney, Aaron Reutzel, Tony Stewart, and Sammy Swindell. Plus the remainder of the Allstars and those mediocre Posse (Hodnett, Zearfoss, Dietrich, R. Smith, M. Smith, Wolf, Freddie Rahmer, Starks, etc). All listed in parents have outlaw wins on their resume except Starks. Oh, and 7 of the above were in the recent Knoxville Nationals A main and Lucas just missed it by 2 spots.
Yeh, just another list of no bodies. You need a reality check dude!

First off, K Madsen isn't my boy and imo he doesn't belong at six on the list. It has nothing to do with not liking Dewease, but your thinking that soothes your ego so fine by me. For you to happily accept that ranking at number four, speaks volumes as to who needs a reality check. As for the list of drivers you bring up, yeh seven were in the A Main at the Nationls. So? One race that he didn't attend doesn't prove a thing. Again, he racks his stats up at home, and home only, and for me that isn't enough to rank fourth.
Nobody asked, but.......in somewhere around 160 or so races over the past two years, Sweet has finished on average ahead of Gravel, and yet Gravel is listed above Sweet on the list. More wins, more money doesn't mean a thing in that instance. Sweet finished ahead of Gravel in WoO points last year, and is ahead of him again this year.

I never said Lance should be # 4. Merely responding to your suggestion that Lance beat a bunch of nobodies for $50,000. Obviously you are incorrect. And I forgot Tim Keading. So that makes 8 Knoxville starters. Total of 66 410’s in the pits that night. No fluke.

You accuse me of not liking him. That isn't so! And get your shit straight! When did I say he's beating "nobodies"? See.....you can't even rationalize......you distort.....dig all you want. I know he's beaten some good drivers. And I never said his $50.000 win was a fluke, I did say his win was at home. You brought up all the other stuff. Right? So if you aren't saying he should be at number four, why are you jumping all over me for saying that? And if you read it again, I also had a problem with K Madsen at six.

Your words....”Dewease winning $50,000 at Tuscarora 50 ain’t crap. Who the hell did he beat...homies and a few invaders. The strength of competition there doesn’t compare to some races elsewhere. I interpret those words to mean Lance didn’t beat anyone of significance. How else can one take those comments?
In my previous post I listed who he beat. Including 8 A main participants from this years Knoxville Nationals. Sounds like a pretty stout field to me.

And I'll stand by that. And I'll also stand by the comment about it not being as laced with competition as some races elsewhere. The Tuscarora 50 is just around the corner, so you'll have the same opportunity this year.

He did beat a bunch of nobody's on an ice skating rink. Same thing will happen this year unless it rains before the race and the track will be too fast for him.
