I heard during the races on Saturday that it was sold out but didn't hear the actual attendance amount. Did they say how many people were there?

They will never have a butt in every seat as many groups, ours included, purchase an extra seat for ball room.

I thought the seat width expansion helped. There was definitely more elbow room in our row than in previous years.

Considering the same thing for next year. For the first time our bottom row on the back stretch was shoulder to shoulder. We've normally had the entire row to ourselves. Of course we liked the guys that wound up sitting next to us, and thankfully they were skinny. No guarantee those guys would buy those exact same seats again next year.
All that said, I would be curious what a ballpark figure would be. I know there are over 24,000 seats, but there's also the HoF and suites. Then how many people might be in the pits on top of that.

21,135 is the grandstands capacity. They posted that on their twitter acct right after the b & right before announcing they were out of Busch Light

I wonder who or what group walked up and got the last tickets? I wonder if somebody walked up after and they said, "sorry, sold out"

For the first time ever, the scalpers out front had no tickets by Saturday!!! They were buying only every time I walked by. I know they eventually had tickets to sell, but I'm sure they went quick. I saw a guy walk up to one of them and ask him a question. He just shook his head and held up the sign "I need tickets". No one was flashing tickets as the masses walked up.

It certainly looked fuller on Wed and Thurs, but that was probably a reflection of being more spread out. 21k is probably about what they had for previous years and now it’s a sellout because of the smaller capacity. Much much better experience in the stands now, so kudos to the staff for making the seats wider.

Definite improvement in "elbow room" this year vs last year. Really was noticeable on Saturday night. This was my first year attending the Wednesday & Thursday shows. Have seen them on PPV before. Sure seemed to be bigger crowds there both of those nights than I remember seeing online in the past. I'd guess there was 10 to 15k there both of those nights & at least 15 on Friday.
