congrats on the offer to cover mod racing in Oklahoma. Do good with it man. The scene is doing good here in the state, but could always be better. Few years ago our state tried all those big money shows that did not pan out, but this year the most appropriate and what I think is the best racing idea for a long time with the 5 race Oklahoma Mod State Championship. There are many regulars at ALL of the tracks throughout this state and what you've been offered is an excellent oppurtunity to cover the competition at each weekly track and statewide. Overall I think mods are the most competitive class of cars in the state - each track that runs em gets a respectable # as well. I wondered on a couple of occasions why you skipped some bad ass sprint races to cover NCRA mods........lol. Congrats and best of luck with that opportunity.
Don;t drop any F Bombs. lol.j/k

Thanks for the "kudos." We shall see how good or bad I do as I sent in the Jason Hughes column last night. I am use to press releases and race stories but a story on a driver? New territory. As far as missing some great sprint car racing this year, I was asked to help NCRA cover races for them the latter half of the season so I did without thinking twice. Hated missing sprint car racing but C Ray Hall and all those people with NCRA are great people and I have done work for them for about ten or eleven years now so whenever they need something, I always try to be there.
As far as the "f" bomb, what "F" bomb? I would never, EVER, do anything like that. Now, my imaginary friend maybe but me - now way!
