I don't recall him running it ever before. (at least not the last couple of years anyway)

Im probably wrong, but that team usually doesnt run any of the other races around Knoxville do they? Around Nationals I mean. Whatever their reasoning its seemed to worked out well for them.

He was running his late model back home in ND. He won with it per the guys on the KNIA radio call last night. Donny has not run this in the past to my memory.

He stated at the Weikert this year that he will only run World of Outlaw sanctioned events in his sprint car. He feels he owes it to them and if he runs elsewhere it hurts their brand.
