Figured it was about time to make my annual Knoxville paint schemes post - seems there are a few starting to trickle out. One of the things that makes the event so special is stuff like this, and I hope other teams continue to do this as years go by.
Daryn Pittman

David Gravel

Carson Macedo

Bobby Mincer

Hopefully there will be more to follow.

Sure hope Ian Madsen's team brings back the half blue/half red scheme!

It sounds like they are running the Vegas paint scheme Monday at Osky, so I guess it's possible.
I'm more a fan of his normal scheme than the red blue - I'm just not a fan of wheels or wheel covers that aren't black or chrome. I guess the dark red Sanders ones were OK but that's about it in terms of color.

I would bet that before 2016 there would have been quite a few people would have said Jason Johnson didn't have the talent to beat Schatz. I think Madsen definetly has the talent. Larson and Gravel both have the talent. They both had the speed last year too. If Larson hadn't scraped the wall in turn four coming down to take the white flag he might have beat Schatz last year. Gravel could have possibly done it if he had run a smarter race. Of course that's what makes Donny so hard to beat is that he's always that fast and doesn't make those same mistakes....

I wouldn't mind seeing Brown win just because the crowd would be absolutely wild.

I thought Carson Macedo was going to be in a beautiful blue version of the 41, pretty sure of it....

Agreed but the red has perfectly accented secondary colors.

He's had a relative "quiet" start to the year, huh? Yes I know he just went back to back. Or maybe it's because there are just other non WoO drivers having excellent years taking the "headlines" where last year he was obviously one of the best non WoO drivers. I could see this happening, I'm on board with your sentiment. Don't sleep on Sweet either.

Sure. It's been proven if someone nails the setup Mr. Schatz can be beat. Everyone acts like he laps the field every year. There are some guys (Brian being one of them---three times) that are RIGHT there each year. And, after Jason's win in '16, he can be beat.
(Just trying to be positive here)
