Does anyone else who subscribes to Sprint Car and Midget feel a little dissapointed in the direction that the magazine has gone in the last few months? I'll be the first to admit it's easy to overlook when something shows up in the mail and it is in good condition or not but I Just recieved the new issue and looked back at my previous ones (January and February for example) and there is an extreme quality difference. I would be happy to pay more to get back what we had. Just my .02

I definitely noticed the difference in size & quality when I recieved both my May & June issues on the same day. My other complaints are I never read about races that happened 2 months ago and I don't think I can read another KO column wishing everyone hauled their midgets on a double decker trailer with a station wagon. Other than that, it's still pretty meh.

Jason Johnson is a must read article. He worked hard for everything he got. It was not an overnite sucess story. He had a goal and set out to accomplish it thru hard work. The young drivers who expect daddy to buy them the best of everything might learn something from the article.

There weren't any "2 month old race articles" in this issue. Just a page & a half on their usual "Pit Board" section
I like reading about the drivers & teams
KO? He's a goofball, thats his shtick, take him or leave him
You know what I'd like to see? more tech articles, explaining about cars, engines, etc...... & track prep!

The size has changed twice in the last few months and is now the same size as it's sister publication...Speed Sport as I guess they use the same printer. Still a great magazine. I can't wait until I get it in the mailbox each month and read it cover to cover.

I have no complaints about the content as I read every article and column from front to back. Some are better than others, but I do love the magazine. My only complaint is I occasionally have a magazine arrive torn and tattered. It drives my crazy because I have collected the magazine from day 1. My biggest fear is that the magazine will go by the wayside in this digital age. Certainly hope this does not happen. There is still something about opening up a magazine and having that publication on your shelf after you are done reading it from cover to cover!

The size has changed, the paper quality has changed and the photo quality has changed. If you don't believe me thats fine. Pull out your latest issue open it to the KO and then pull out an issue from earlier in the year, I pulled out January. Open to the KO page and compare the photos. I love the everything in the issues. Just the print quality has gone down.

Well, well, well, after praising the magazine yesterday and only concerned about it being delivered tattered and torn, the latest edition arrived today with the cover being torn and the edges bent up. It looks like a 3 year old got a hold of it for an hour. My wife thought it was a used copy. Going back to the issue about materials not being up to snuff, it probably explains why the issues are suffering abuse in the delivery process. I would certainly rather pay a little more and receive a quality magazine.

My SC&M arrived in the mail just as I was taking my truck for an oil change and state inspection. Gave me the perfect opportunity to read the latest issue. As I was finishing the last article of those I would be reading, Alex said my truck was ready. Can't remember ever having a better time at the tire shop.
