Note that glhaden is a newby, this is only his 18th post. Therefore probably new to the board and like many others, has no manners and thinks this board is the place to bash others since so much of the same goes on. It's good to see us more experienced posters, point out when others are out of line.

Number one pet peeve about this board is when losers come on here and rather than add to the discussion, try to shut posts down as if they’re some kind of Board police.
As for Steve, I hope he’s enjoying retirement. I’ve seen him a few times over the past few years at the big events so he’s probably there tonight.

Honestly, from a post on another thread, I think glhayden is a woman. Also note her join date is 12/07/04. That doesn't excuse the rudeness though.

this gilhaden is by all defenitions a troll, whether it's a man or a woman. I wish people would just ignore them. If nobody responds to him or her, it will quit posting.

If he bought a team and was planning to race the question would be fine. If he was planning on starting a restaurant called Green White Checkered the question would be fine. If he was planning on wearing out a rocking chair on his porch the question should be fine.
Rovanber simply asked a simple question which only needs a simple answer. I doubt Rovanber is planning on recruiting the King to race the Chilibowl and ruin his retirement.
If you have been reading the board for 20 years you may recall the thread on name calling and attacks.
Did you not violate your own standard by checking out the crowd at KR to see if he was there?

Did anyone ask if he was cheating on his wife or if he had hemorrhoids or anything? Didn't think so. No one pried into his personal life. The original poster simply just asked what he's up to in the context of whether he's still going to the races or if he is helping Kraig or something along those lines. Just because he's no longer driving, doesn't mean that he still doesn't have fans. Hell, I'm one of them. I'm sure if a fan asks Steve at the track if he still goes to the races often or if he's helping Kraig out, he isn't going to jump down their throats like you did. If he did react the way you did, he'd probably not have too many fans to begin with.
