This Thursday, July 12 the Sioux County Youth Fair in Sioux Center, Iowa will be host to the 9th Annual Sioux Speedway Mouw Motor Company Sprint Car Showdown. This event will feature the always exciting Midwest Sprint Touring Series 360 Sprint Cars. Past champions include 2-time winner "Blackjack" Brian Brown from Grain Valley, MO, Knoxville Iowa's Jon Agan, Sioux Falls standout Gregg Bakker, Canadian Lou Kennedy, Jr. , Danny "the Dude" Lasoski, and father-son tandem Carson & Terry McCarl.
Also on hand will be the T&R Contracting Late Model Street Stock Tour for another dose of methanol burning machines & the ever popular Stock Car division. So come on out to Sioux Speedway while you still can as this may very well be the last high horsepower racing event on the Sioux Center half mile as the city of Sioux Center has agreed to sell the land to build a high school.
