Is it $7,000.00 to win at Path on Sunday or $10,000.00?

$10,000 to win on an extremely racey bullring with Rico and Bell in the house. If the track crew does their job and uses the water truck like last year, this will be the show of the week.

I agree. As long as the track has some moisture and bite in it of course. Track prep for the 410 shows at Path Valley since they started having them again in 2012 was subpar at best but even then, we saw some good races. Last year, they got it a lot better. It was rutted up pretty bad early on but it got better as the night went. When Path Valley is right, there's nowhere I'd rather be. Love that place.

Water track has a tendency to break down there. With a race last night, a race tonight and then the Speedweek show tomorrow - I highly doubt the surface will be good. Hope I'm wrong but with 100 degree days and three straight nights of racing, could be very dry, slick and dusty. I know the owner needs to make money but at least take the Saturday before the speedweek off the schedule.

Not good news. That will be one of the biggest disappointments of the season if that show ends up being a rubber down snoozer. Hopefully they dig it up and get some water in it so that tomorrow's show is as good as it should be.

This track looks like a small and racy 1/4 mile track! Of course us Californian's love our short tracks and think it is the best kind of racing! I also bet Kyle Larson and Rico prefers to race on short tracks Really hoping the water truck doesn't break down and maybe get a backup just in case?
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Speed Shift TV was going to, but a lack of connectivity has forced them to cancel.

How is the crowd this year compared to last year? Last year was packed.

Unfortunately I did not make it this year, but from photos that I have seen on Twitter, it looks like a decent crowd but not as packed as last year. Probably two reasons, the HEAT and No Kyle Larson.

It was a very good race even though the surface was pretty parched. Understandably so considering the hot sunny weather but 2 things blew my mind. First off, they ran the cushion in which rendered the outside of turns 1 and 2 pretty much useless and 2, even though there were a couple of long periods of downtime, they never came out and watered the outside even after it turned into a dust bowl.

The thing about Path is that its so short, lapped cars become a factor pretty early on, despite track conditions. I enjoyed the hell out of the A-Main, very competitive, several passes for the lead.
