The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints embarked on a grueling four-race, four-night swing through three states last weekend. Each of them were Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin' Challenge qualifying events. Wade Nygaard won the first two events of the weekend, while Mark Dobmeier won the final two nights.

Through the first five of eight Blazin' Challenge qualifying events, just Nygaard and Dobmeier are locked into the $8,200-to-win Blazin' Back Row Challenge, which is set for Sept. 7th at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, N.D. A total of eight drivers will be locked in. Drivers can automatically qualify by winning a Blazin' Challenge qualifier or by their rank in the NOSA points.

Drivers that compete in all eight Blazin' Challenge qualifiers will receive an $820 Blazin' Bonus. 15 drivers are still eligible for that bonus through five events.

RECAP:

06.21.18 - Norman County Raceway (Ada, Minn)   - Winner: Wade Nygaard

06.22.18 River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, N.D.)- Winner: Wade Nygaard

06.23.18 Brown County Speedway (Aberdeen, S.D.) - Winner: Mark Dobmeier

06.24.18 Casino Speedway (Watertown, S.D.) - Winner: Mark Dobmeier

The Brown County show in Aberdeen was very good. In fact, I'd say it was a better race than the Outlaws had there two years ago for raciness .  Another lap or two and the #2, Austin Pearce I think his name was, would have ate Dobmeiers lunch...he found a lane and was bad fast. Thanks for coming to a track that doesn't normally host sprint cars. It sure helps out a sprint car lover who moved to late model and modified land. I hope they return next year. As well, fantastic job moving the show along, even with a couple reds to start the feature in order to beat the rain. Only a couple miles west of the track on the way home we were using our windshield wipers.
