Farley's first WoO show in over 20 years has been cancelled for this evening and will not be made up. I was very optimistic this show would go on. Although the area has seen a ton of moisture in the last 3-4 days, it appeared the Farley area had been skirting the heavy stuff and had all but missed the rain the last 24 hours. I'm not sure what the future holds for this track, but the decision to cancel all weekly shows for the remainder of 2018 kind of paints a dark picture. I think this may have been the last chance to see an Outlaw race here. Kinda bummed out.

I was curious as to how this show was doing ticket wise so I opened the ticket website and I was surprised how few seats were sold for a first time in a long time visit.
They don’t have a ton of open dates anyway, but the lack of a big reserved gate was probably another reason to can the show.

Not sure how much rain Farley has received this week but some areas have had a lot. Quad cities had 4.5 the other day and had flash floods. I work in Iowa City and it was a deluge yesterday around lunch time and rained this morning also. Not really surprised they called it.

You are correct. There was a terrible pre-sale for this race. I also think this played into the cancellation. Unfortunate because I think the turnout would have been great. Oh well. I'll head to Beaver Dam tomorrow.
