The Outlaws have found an even tougher rival than the Posse just saw on twitter that they cancelled Tuesday at Bridgeport isnt it amazing that after some showers tonight its gonna be beautiful until at least Friday.
Guess it takes three days to travel 8 hours.

You do not have to worry. They just wait for the storm to pass and then run the track in. Last year hot laps for the Thursday show did not start until like 11pm lol

The Outlaws made the right call cancelling the race at Bridgeport. It has been pooring all day. I can't remember a racing season with so many rainouts. It has to be tough on the Outlaw teams this season. They have spent more money on hotel rooms watching the rain drops, all over the country, than on tires and fuel.....tough to make a living.

If it was Posse Rain then it would have only rained on the porch.

Bridgeport rescheduled for July 22. Will be a good stop after the Grove. I hope the Lincoln race gets rescheduled too, but the dates are running out.

Even if it didn't rain on Tuesday, Bridgeport would probably have had to cancel.
It's basically built on swampland, the pits and the parking lot would have been a mess, and the groundwater under the surface would have made for a horrible racetrack.

I wonder if the WRG should consider a little leniancy on their rules about not racing others series. When a full week of events get rained out it would almost be a kind jesture to send the WoO guys to another event just so they can earn a few dollars even if it is only t shirt money.
The rain might be saving fuel money and engines but it isn't paying the bills.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

WoO teams can ask permission to run non-Outlaw events at non-Outlaw tracks. Maybe this year they'd be more open to the idea as you suggest. Problem being, how are you going to get to events elsewhere when you don't know that you're rained out until the day of the event? Only way is to gamble on the situation like the Roth team did.

Jesture? Was he the guy that Maverick and Goose engaged below the hard deck leading to a stern talking to from Viper?

Is the Roth team under a Platnum contract with the WoO? I would have to think no because they had 0 intent to race with the outlaws at any point last weekend and the races at Williams grove were not a wash until the day of the race.
Can anyone confirm that?

To be fair I do not know anything about the Roth team's intentions. I am just speculating based on evidence. They entered Mansfield's $100k race and would have been a strong contender, but decided to stay in Texas with the WoO that weekend. That would indicate that they had made some kind of commitment to stay with the WoO. But a couple of weekly shows at Jackson and Knoxville are enough to catch their attention instead of sticking with the tour in PA? That isn't logical to me. That's why I think they GAMBLED that all of the PA races would rain out and headed west so they could actually race. Had one of those races at the Grove not been rained out they would've been SOL on any contract they may have signed.
Or, it could be some combination of both. They decided to run all of the WoO tour, but didn't sign a contract so that they could still take a weekend off and not lose anything.
