Hopefully Port Royal takes notes because Williams Grove sure didn't. They ran in the cushion after time trials and the track was garbage the rest of the night.

Yeah, that was pretty bad last night. I left immediately after the 410s and I almost never leave a show until all the racing is done.

Ditto. I did the same. Normally on a nice night like last night, I'd have stayed for the 305's but not last night.

Looking at the time trails results.  They missed it big time tonight.  16.490 quick time...they need to change the name to the slow palace. The track is about a half to three quarters of a second too slow and that means it will be hard black and dry before the heats are over.  In time trials there should be at least 3 or 4 cars in the 15 second bracket and a gagle of cars in the very low 16 second bracket.   Like normal........best facltiy does not equal the best prepared track.....week in and week out the worst prepared track in PA!

I am not there tonight so like Stawser it shouldn't matter to me what the track is like. I do know this, nobody but a danmed fool would dump a bunch of water on a track this weekend given the weather forecast. They will be lucky to get tonights race in and will have threats of rain Sunday and Monday.

They will be running 19 second laps in the feature for 3 quarters of the field and maybe the whole field and that leads to no excitment.  Hard, black, and dry like normal = boring racing!  They will get it in it is not going to rain until after midnight.  Anyone that looked at the weather this morning could have seen that the rain was going to hold off until after midnight!

Not much better than Williams Grove last night. It would've helped to go out and shoot some water on it before the feature but since they started a half hour late as usual, there was no time because at that point, rain was on the way. Nice to see Lance put the 461 back in victory lane. The Dream Team continues to kick ass.

Just like I said.... I am glad I stayed home to watch the grass grow, more exciting than this......

If you notice on the last lap of the feature everyone is over 20 second in lap times.  As per usual at the slow palace!

I thought time trials were scheduled for 7? They started a few minutes before 7. I could be wrong.

If you stayed home to watch the grass grow, that's great. I hope it was fun. You just don't have to tell us about it every time you do.

They have to please me since I am the customer.....not the other way around....just saying!  This happens way too often at the Port.  They only had one good track all year and that was the night Blaney won.

They need to learn how to prepare a track and to put this into perspective.  At knoxville tonight the 305's ran quicker laps in TT than the 410's ran in the feature at Port.  Knoxville is a full half mile and Port is just under along the inside rail.

So.....my question is this......is the racing going to be good on Sunday night? Watched Knoxville tonight but I've been looking forward to the PPV for Sunday's event at Port.....but if the racing isn't expected to be good at all.........? That's the only race available until the WoO on Monday. Opinions?
