All the sprints are converging on Ohio right now. Don't schedule against the 100k race or you'll barely have a full field especially when you're in an area with nearly no 410s at all and very scant amount of 360s.

20?????? How come there were only 16 or 17 listed on the draw sheet line up before the cancellation was announced? I think 20 may be an inflated number.

You must be talking about the draw sheet that clearly listed 20 drivers.
Three groups of hotlaps, 7 in the first (I. Madsen, Kinser, Schatz, McMahan, Stewart, JJ, Knipp), 7 in the second (Pittman, Eliason, Gravel, Haud Jr., Sweet, Allen, Sides) and 6 in the third (Lorenc, Wilson, Kahne, Marks, Channin Tankersley and Schuchart).
Pretty "inflated" 20.

Let's be realistic here. I count only 5-6 teams on Mansfield's entry list that MIGHT have been in TX if the 100k race wasn't going on. And there's no guarantee on those 5-6 either. Mansfield is a big deal and I know everyone is excited (and rightfully so), but let's step back from snarking on the WoO for sticking with their normal schedule. Nobody pulled off the tour this week just because of Mansfield.
Signature here.

I agree with Jake, I remember going there in 2016 and we had enough cars for a 10 or 12 car B, however Most of the other non outlaw drivers were ASCS guys who also have 410s.

The 20 cars has way more to do with being in Texas than running against Mansfield. It’s a shame they couldn’t come to an agreement so the best drivers and teams could race for the 100k.

Well, they could...they'd just have to pay a sanctioning fee.

The Mansfield race date was made public well before the WoO schedule was released. I can understand why the WoO don't want their drivers to race that deal, same as I can understand the Mansfield folks not wanting to run this event as a sanctuined WoO show. Looks like weather permitting, Mansfield wins this round. I'm glad to see an event of this magnitude go down without the WoO organization involved. It might wake the organization up a little. Espeially if other traks should realize they can do the same.

Yes, he was... I was going by the Mansfield entry list... I watched on Dirtvision... That's great that you give the official WOO
Track distance, right before qualifying... Cotton Bowl Speedway .330 in the middle...
