Why did Kirt Deweese twitter that Deitrich jumped a restart on Sunday nite at Baps? Did the officals miss a call?

I was there and in my humble opinion, he definitely got away with one. Blatant jump.

Don't quote me but I believe Lance commented that they hurt a motor on that restart and the car didn't go. He started but the engine didn't jump and Danny took off. Not saying Danny didn't jump, just that Lance did comment that they hurt a motor and it didn't "go" on the restart.

It doesn't look very blatant to me.

The restart is at 3:52. Regardless of the restart, Danny definitely earned the win.
This may be just what the 69K team needed. Two years ago Danny beat Lance at Susky on a Sunday. A few days later at Williams Grove, the 69K returned with a vengeance and finished 2nd to Pittman on Friday and then beat the Outlaws on Saturday. Look out All Stars......

What is the rule for the restart? Is it the same as a WoO double file restart? Also who was in the lead the 48 or 69K?

Looked like it was not a bad jump but Danny had more traction and the motor used it. Lance should have chose the bottom then especially if they thought the motor was hurting. I think the fact that Danny cleared him so quickly and moved to his line makes it look worse than it was. Danny didnt do anything different than any other good driver would have done.

Eh, I don't know. Tough 1 to call. DD went a hair earlier than lance but nothing blatant. Don't know what the rule is there. Isn't the leader supposed to start the race even if he's on the outside? Eliminate the stupid double file restarts and we wouldn't have to worry about it. Don't know why they'd even have them for a local show. Good racing at Susky though and the place is also looking good, although the crowd didn't look too great.
