Sorry to hear that you had problems in the midwest milehigh5. I would call my local provider however as the broadcast was loud and clear all night here in Florida. Maybe Dirtvision directed the signal southward, LOL.

Too bad you couldn't get the broadcast. We had people from IA, SD, ND, MN, and WI in the chat room listening with no problems

Once the final green flag flies close to home I put the camera away, take off the racing hat and don't pay much attention for six months. The fun part of these dirt track races is camping at the track and visiting with friends. My only interest once that's over is to check the boards.

Was there a race somewhere last night.

Worked fine in vermont, it cut out once during warm-ups but that's it. Are you sure tha you just tried getting on too early. It started at 9:30 eastern time.

Is Dirtvision on again tonight and is it a subscription service? I listen to Wissota CS and WDRL Late Models as well as Knoxville broadcasts on ADN once in a while. Those are sponsor supported broadcasts so they're free of charge. My rule of thumb is if the broadcast is free and I don't have to register with the website I'll listen. I'm partial to live racing, to me it's something to do outdoors during the summer. To me it's as much a social function and a reason to camp as it is a sport.

LOL, it's a good thing for Dirtvision that I'm in the minority. They probably don't like my opinion on this but the way I look at it I can watch NFL, NASCAR, Wild hockey, MLB, movies as well as delayed broadcasts of WoO races on a big LCD TV from my recliner. I can DVR those events for later viewing and watch them as my schedule permits. Why would I want to pay for a sporadic internet broadcast and sit hunched over a 17" monitor in an upright office chair on a Saturday night? Due to my location my DSL service is adequate but not the fastest and I've got high definition TV with Dish so I'm already paying each month for entertainment. In my feeble little mind I think that sponsor supported free internet broadcasts of races promote interest in the sport. If the WoO was in town and they were on the internet I'd never sit home and listen instead of going to the races. If WoO racing was available in high defenition on Dish Network on a per race PPV basis, that's a different story, I would watch that. Sprint Cars in HD with the surround sound cranked up would be worth an occasional PPV expense before or after our local season.

You left out Nebraska. wink

I never lost the feed after the initial one prior to racing started that was already mentioned.

Listening to racing and chatting with friends; does it get any better??

I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.
