After watching the Florida races it looks like another long year for everybody chasing Schatz with the Outlaws.
This morning iI was looking at last years Knoxville shirt and see that Donnie needs two more wind to match Stve with TWELVE
even if he matches or passes Stve I dont think it will be as impressive since Steve did it with two of the best ever in their prime and several others at the top of their game.
My biggest question from Florida will Larson and Rico be the same without Paul Silva?

Schatz will still get his 20-25 wins and win the title don’t get me wrong. But last year he was incredibly dominant at Volusia and for his standards wasn’t incredibly dominant the whole year. He had 20 wins and won 3 of the 5 biggest races, but he didn’t keep up the pace he set at Volusia.
The point is, Schatz is as good at Volusia as he is anywhere including Knoxville. It doesn’t mean he’s going to win 2 out of every 3 races all year.

I wonder the same. After seeming to run up front every time he showed up, Larson sure doesn't look like he would be any threat to Schatz over a full season if this is how well he can do without Silva.

After seeing Larson being interviewed Sunday from Daytona all I can say is he looks bored as hell. You see him at a dirt track he is out there talking and having a good time.

Interesting statistics I found while looking for something else- According to the Driver Data Base website,
Donny Schatz has won 20.3% of the races he's raced.
That compares with:
Sammy Swindell 16.6%
Steve Kinser 24.5%
Doug Wolfgang 25.6%

Great stat, Murphy! No wonder us Wolfgang fans were so excited to see him run! Regarding the Big 3.....what the heck would their pecentages have been if Steve and Sammy had't raced so long past their primes, and if Doug hadn't raced those five years after that terrible crash at Lakeside? Certainly much higher percentages for all three!
