I probably pay for 6-8 Dirtvision events a year and overall the product is good. I can see me maybe watching another 5-10 races on nights there are rain outs at the local track or a special event like Brad Doty Classic since it will now be offered. Usually the issues people have is when trying to watch on systems that are not capable. I'll be firing up SpeedshiftTv tonight for the All Stars at Ocala with PPV.
Face it PPV is far cheaper than me filling up my car and hitting road for how many ever miles away the track is that I am watching.

With this huge step in coverage that Dirtvision is taking, they really do need an app for mobile devices for both audio and video and what would be even better is if they made an app or channel capable of being used on a smart device for your TV, like a Roku channel. Easy to access and right on your TV without having to got to their website and login and connect your computer to your TV would be amazing!!

Cool part is, if you think it costs too much u don't have to buy it. Based on every ppv thread on this forum, dirtvision should be bankrupt and yet here they are providing coverage of all Woo races in 2018 and the Hosehead brain trust has already passed judgement without even knowing the costs or what they will offer. What do all you naysayers wanna bet that Dirtvision will be back bigger then ever in 2019.

If they have a Roku app and can keep the cost similiar to Lucas Oil TV I would for sure purchase a season pass.

Just for comparison IMCA TV has a year long package that is $300 and a monthly pass of $30. I'm not sure the total number of shows that they have on there, but they do a lot of different events around the country.

DirtVision allows free audio. I listen to the audio (which is sometimes delayed by 30 second or so) while also watching Live Scoring from the WoO website. It isn't as good as watching the live video, which isn't as good as being in the stands, which isn't as good as being in the pits, which isn't as good as being behind the wheel of the sprint car. But it is FREE and it is within a minute or so of being live.
You may get some strange looks from family members though because it kinda looks like you are cheering for numbers on an Excel spreadsheet....

Like you I listen to the free audio, while sitting by the fire pit with a buckey of beer... Occasionally I’ll buy the PPV (maybe 2or 3 times a year)... But I really enjoy sitting by the fire listening, however I’m sure the neighbors wonder what the hell I’m doing... And it’s really nice on a Saturday when the Outlaws are out west, so I start out listening to the Knoxville local show, then flip over to the Outlaws when Knoxville wraps up... Also a nice way to introduce neighbors to racing... A few years back a nosey neighbor came over to see what I was doing... He started coming over every Saturday just to chill and sit by fire, before long he was hooked and had his favorite driver to cheer for...

I went to see the movie " Debbie does.........."oh, never mind. 5-7 of us get together at a mate's place for the Dirtvision stuff & it brings down any cost signifigantly.(sp?)

Not to mention your free subscription to Dirtvision also allows you to watch replays of just about every race the have ever covered, usually within a a day or 2 of the event. They also have races from the 80's and 90's from TNN and other sources that you can watch anytime for FREE. Can't wait to enjoy a cold beer and tune into speed shift tonight and the next 2 nights, me and 2 buddies threw in $26 bucks for the three night package.
