Interesting, as the last song on one of my favorite all-time Albums asks, 'Where Do We Go From Here'....

Any guesses as to how much a season pass will be?

I don't think they will offer a season pass as I am sure they have to pay each promoter a cut of paying customer for each race. Guess I haven't seen anything offical but I would think they will only sell individual shows and weekend passes if they are at the same track.

They tweeted tonight that there would be pricing structures for the year forthcoming, so we'll see.

LOL. If it's over 900.00 I don't think they'll be getting many takers. Untested, I'll pass.

I've long been a proponent of streaming and how promoters should embrace it as a revenue source, but I don't see how this can be profitable for Dirtvision and the promoters unless the season package is obscene - at which point, they just won't sell any. If the price is north of $250/season, I'd say it's probably doomed from the start. There's a large change in how most people perceive value when you get higher than that.

they could probably do a monthly pass for 79.99 or 89.99 and get some takers. I agree the price point can’t be something too high.

if I were the drivers I’d be wondering when the purse is going to increase.

Not sure  what the fees would need to be but they might have to black out a reception area around the track.... that is what they do here for the drag races you cannot get it with in 100 mile radius of the track ....

Season pass over/under $900?

You figure they charge $21.95 for a stand alone show today so if you watch say all 90 shows that is $1,975.50. Plus it would not surprise me if they bump the price to cover the costs more this year. Going to be interesting to see how the pricing comes out but at $900 that is still a bargin compared to pricing each show individually.

I think if it is more than $150/yr they'll have problems getting the #s needed to support it.  I'd be fine with that even if its just the "normal" events and the big ones (KR, Silver Cup, National Open, Knoxville, Iron Man, etc) are sold seperately.

I think Lucas Oil Racing TV is $99/yr which is really the only thing that kind of almost compares.

They still need to get the technology right for me to buy a season pass.

Lack of technology at some tracks and someone trips over/unplugging the cable at others. lol

I haven't seen anything about a season or monthly pass even being offered

Lucas Oil is a great deal.  Sure wish the WoO and DirtVision could come up with an affordable option.  I don't mind paying the $ for the occasional event ever so often

OR, take some of your hard earned money and go to see the local show and support your local track.  I am not such a huge fan of the Sprints that I will dole out this kind of cash just to see a race. I'll keep up on Race Monitor if I want.  I'll support my local track and travel to see the Outlaws at least twice a year.  That is fine for my taste's

There’s pretty cheap technology that allows you to connect to the internet eother on your tv or via a google chrome or something else, so it’s just like watching it on tV except for the occasional buffering.

Dirtvision needs an app that you can watch on anything. That would take it to the next level.

For some reason MAV TV recently showed up on my cable package, no announcements just bingo, there it is.  This might affect how much Outlaw stuff I watch, I think if they offered an incentive for how many shows you've watched and lowering their prices based on that it might make a difference anyway.  Sure wish Tony would put together an All-Star deal, I like their Roster and shows a bunch also.....

DirtVision allows free audio.    I listen to the audio (which is sometimes delayed by 30 second or so)  while also watching Live Scoring from the WoO website.   It isn't as good as watching the live video, which isn't as good as being in the stands, which isn't as good as being in the pits,  which isn't as good as being behind the wheel of the sprint car.      But it is FREE and it is within a minute or so of being live.

You may get some strange looks from family members though because it kinda looks like you are cheering for numbers on an Excel spreadsheet....

I paid for a show once and it was so bad that I've never done it again.

I too only log on and listen to the free audio...
