Great Clips, like many brands before them, are moving away from NASCAR/auto racing activations and partnerships and investing more at the collegiate athletic level. They are still doing their NHRA stuff as I understand, but not more circle track. It's a shame, as they have been a great partner for KKR, Hendrick & Akins Motorsports, but an understandable decision anyway. Hopefully someone fills the void!

Napa with from part time, to full time primiary with Sweet. Don't see that sort of a financial commitment from NAPA to KKR.

Obviously? I would consider it highly unlikely NAPA would make the sort of financial commitment nessecary to be the primiary sponsors on 2 high profile cars. Doesn't make much business sense for that to occur.

Should see his new sponsor soon if I had to guess, DP posted a pic of a blank car last night on Twitter.

Funny thing is, both the WoO and Nascar start in a few weeks in Florida, seems weird that you don't even know who the sponsors are on Kaseys or Daryns rides yet? I'm guessing it's nothing too special because they're definitely not trying to promote anything! Maybe we'll see one of them sponsored by Tide pods so we can laugh at more dumb shit on the internet

From the KKR web site regarding Sweet. No news on DP.
Mooresville, N.C. – Dec. 18, 2017 – NAPA AUTO PARTS and Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) have agreed to a multi-year partnership where NAPA will elevate its role as primary sponsor of Brad Sweet’s No. 49 car for the entire World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series (WoO) schedule beginning in 2018.
