Talk on twitter is Smoke left the Chili Bowl over disagreement on track prep. Any truth to this?

I seen it from several myself so I'm guessing it's accurate. I'd say he'd be better off to be concerned about eldora.

You could see a difference in the track prep this year. Me personally, if you watched Mav TV showing previous yrs racing, I thought the track was better with TS doing the track prep. The Chilli bowl always amazes me in that you have a couple guys that put on a charge from starting deep in quite a few of the mains. What I did see this year was the big money teams domination of the a main. 8 car teams ? Ridiculous.....

The "big money team" owner was quoted as saying after watching past Swindell race video over and over and over (who dominated for years) he "figured it out " Hard work and attention to detail pays off.
I tell it like I see it.

I thought the track prep looked off from previous TS prepared years. You'd think with all the praise they have recieved since he got involved they'd listen to him, but I guess ego's get in the way.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

TS keeps getting ripped about the surface at Eldora. MY opinion. Worthless, but here goes. He as a driver realized he had to do something to slow the cars down. Rules don't work, so i think it's as simple as that. Slow the track down. Eldora has always been a place that anyone understood you wreck a open wheel car there it's junk. The SLM of today are not far behind. Sure, nobody likes it, but with the speeds they reach at that place. I doubt if TS likes it. Eldora used to be the baddest car and the driver with the biggest nutz sack. It used to be you better put that rear bumper on the wall. Yes Eldora has changed. The people still pack the place so we for sure must be the minority.
