taking the most experienced and talented driver putting them in the very best
Chili bowl cars, Of Course they are going to Win! I’d like to see them run in the somewhat above to average car
what happens then. There are a couple of stellar strong teams out there.
KKR, Clauson MARSHAL, DOOLING, Swindel ( excuse spelling of the names)besides that I don’t care
who the driver is if he or she IS NOT in one of those cars You Are Not winnng a driller

Putting the best drivers in the best cars? Who dreamed that up? Certainly you want the best drivers in the crappiest cars and save the best cars for the slow guys-right?
For as long as I can remember, the best teams and the best drivers have always attracted each other in motorsports. The notable exception would be the IROC series. It had top drivers in identically prepared cars doing hotlaps on NASCAR tracks with predictable results.

Thank you for understanding my point! I didn't need the scarcasim from the other response. Just clearly stating the "Surprise,Praise and the OMG quotes Media, tweets etc. Of those guys all winning or placing in the top spots! They better be winning with their talent and bought rides .
My point is 1 Those drivers and team better get the job done! 2. the hype of the same ones with that team winning 3.the dam still camera shot of KKR TEAM all night every year
In the pits .
Why dont you call it next 2019 KEITH KUNZ Chili Bowl & The NASCAR Greats for heavens sake
Just would be nice to see under rated driver and teams really excel

I could roll back the clock 5 years and there were the same arguements about the Swindell's winning 5 straight. It did not matter where Sammy or Kevin started... they won. People wore Anyone But Swindell shirts. People whined about them ruining the Chili Bowl.
Its now KKRs time to shine.

If you think for a second that you can simply "buy" a driller, it might be time to lay off whatever it is you are drinking. With 300 plus cars, you not only need to be driving the best race you can drive, your car has to be able to match that. Even with the perfect driver and car combo, you need to hit the set-up, and have a little luck on your side. Pretty much, you must be about perfect to even have a chance to compete on Saturday night. Many good drivers and cars do not even make it to the A-main. KKR put who they want in those cars. Do you honestly think he just simply puts the highest bidders in his cars? I have to laugh when people say to put the cars on short tracks, it will even out the field. Then you put them on the ultimate short track, and people still cry. It takes more than money to put one of these cars in victory lane.

I'll take the responsibility for my sarcastic response. I don't feel you were "clearly stating" anything. I took it as you saying that you don't think the good drivers should be allowed to race in the good rides. Thanks for the clarification.

Doesn't something like this happen in almost all forms of racing?
If an underfunded driver starts doing well he may get picked up by another team or owner that has better equipment, and then you see when talent matches up with good equipment. That's what you're seeing now and it happens in every form of racing.
Yes, once in awhile the top teams do not win, but the best drivers even in the best equipment still have to get the job done.
Keep It Real

Not that it matters; but I don't think KKR has any cars entered in this event!

I believe he meant Keith Kunz Motorsports (Racing), the other KKR (KKM).
