Hi everyone,
I used to race karts on dirt years ago and still would be if there were any tracks in Louisiana. I still keep up with some of my old friends. One of them recently sent me a picture of a full-size sprint car that someone had made street legal. I saw it and immediately wanted one. I'm a gearhead and a grease monkey at heart so I figure I'll build my own, but even kart equipment isn't cheap. I can't imagine how much money all of you have in tires alone, much less chassis. The reason I'm making this post is I'm trying to work off a budget and want to know if anyone in the southeast has a chassis they're willing to sell for a few hundred bucks. I can weld a decent bead and this car isn't going to be doing any racing so it doesn't matter if it's cracked or bent. Anyone?

Maybe you could get lucky at a flea market. You better take some diagonal measurements or that thing would be a handful going down the road.
