Don't really have a list but Wayne County has awesome, wild racing. It's dusty as hell and the facilities aren't the greatest but the racing makes up for it.

1)River Cities
2)Eagle(When Prepped Right which has not been very often since Roger Hadan took over)
3)Lernerville
4)Attica
5)Haubstadt/Knoxville (tie)
Honorable mention to Park Jefferson for their modified races as they get 3 wide with multiple grooves. Sprints are ok there but only seen 1 really good sprint race.

Here is a list from the tracks I've been to - for Sprints only.
1. River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, ND)
2. Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, PA)
3. Lincoln Speedway (Abbottstown, PA)
4. Grandview Speedway (Bechtesville, PA)
5. Trail Way Speedway (Hanover, PA)
If I don't make it just Sprints only, I'll put Potomac Speedway (in Mechanicsville, MD) in 3rd, and Screven Speedway (in Screven, GA) in 5th with Lincoln moved to 4th.

where ever the next race is always my favorite track
but I do like my local tracks (like everyone does) Perris, Ventura and Thunderbowl Raceway (Tulare) offer some great racing with great events ie Oval Nationals, Turkey Night and Trophy Cup, plus they WOO races at two of them
Kern Raceway and Irwindale (to close very soon) offer great pavement racing.
I liked Kokomo and basciall all of ISW tracks, Lakeside was great too.
The big tracks like Eldora or Knoxville are not my favorite for racing, that dread aero push comes into play, the year I went to Knoxville, Donnie won everything
I tend to like the smaller tracks, but any dirt track with the right cars, format and track prep can offer a great night of racing. If I narrowed it to 5, here goes
Tulare, Ventura, Kokomo, Perris and Chilli Bowl (haven't attended)

All under a 1/2 mile. At 1 time all had a nice cushion. Close, hard racing...

Similar to a thread a while back about "raciest" tracks.....Out of the 30 or so tracks that I've been to, in no particular order, in terms of "raciest":
Attica
Susquehanna
Belle Clair, Illinois
Path Valley
ANY Indiana bullring
First 3 I've only visited once, but racing was great!
Now if we go by quality of cars & drivers, easy: Kokomo & Knoxville

Loved the mention of EP in Grass Valley. I loved going up there in those days.
