I have no beef with Shane or Greg, but if you cause a yellow and spin, shouldn't you go to the tail?  I think the contact earlier on...which I don't think was caused by Shane, may of influenced the slider that didn't work a couple of laps later.

Thank you for sharing the video.

That didn't look like much of a slider, more like a crasher.  Maybe Greg thought he had some traction down there but he wasn't anywhere near making that move work.  Good have won both of the features if he would have made a better decision.

Hard to decide whose fault it was, but Hodnett & Stewart pretty much screwed each other out of the win in first race. No contact, either of them wins

Greg & his owner didn't seem very happy in 2nd race Victory Lane interview!

My opinion of the 1st contact was Hodnett came down a bit on Stewart after exiting 4, causing the contact. But he didn't come down much and Stewart didn't leave him much room - just one of "those racing deals."  The 2nd contact looked like Stewart took a defensive line into 3 and Hodnett just drove it in hot - in a manner that showed he was not happy with Stewart for the 1st incident, thus taking both of them out.

this might have been a carryover from Lernerville between Greg & Shane, just saying ...

Both incidents in the first feature looked like Hodnett's fault to me. Shane was faster, had position and the preferred line and Greg chose to stay on the throttle instead of being smart and lifting. 2nd feature was Danny's fault, he had a run and tried to stick it in there but there wasn't room.

What a freaking save!  He should have been fliipping down the front stretch.

That being said, both were Greg's fault.  The first one is understandable coming off the turn with the stagger in the cars, his car is going to want to shoot down the track like it did.  But nothing Stewart did wrong.  The 2nd one was just Greg plowing into a guy.

That first deal could have really been ugly. Hodnett let him no he was not happy and Unfortunately let his displeasure get the best of him. Second incident with DD was just good hard racing in my opinion.

Understandable, there's a lot of money on the line and he's had a tough season by his standards although it would be a pretty good year for most. He's been fast lately.

Yes, watching the video from Thursday my first thought was Greg was playing bumper cars.   Then my second thought was he better watch  out what is good for the goose is good for the gander....just saying!

Friday, Greg raced clean for a change.

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

If you think he wrecked him on purpose go back and watch the replay. Wouldn't it have been much easier to feed Stewart the right rear in two? He was right there, he had him right next to the fence....

I think he just drove waaay too hot into three. Shit happens. It's racing.

I hate blocking.......and I think blocking is pretty easy to spot. On the other hand I can see how some might confuse blocking with hard racing. Regarding the Hodnett incidents and the Dietrich incident (of which both showed displeasure for the other driver), I think both Hodnett and Dietrich need to understand that getting the right front tire past the rear nerf bar does not constitute preferred line ownership or a completed pass for position. Kind of like completing a slide job. It's only complete when the pass is made. Slamming into the side of other guy means it wasn't completed! Too many drivers today don't seem to understand that concept.
