BigAck, it’s a fact that there isn’t a big 360 following here on hoserheads. So it’s rare that a 360 topic gets much input if any, unless it has something to do with a 360 driver running 410's. I’m a fan of 360's and follow the ASCS. Being from the South we just don't get the 410's down here like we do the 360's.
As far as your question, I'll pick Reutzel over Dover ... lol I'm a fan of both Reutzel and Dover, but Reutzel just seems like he wants it more than Dover. Either way it's going to make for some great racing ..!!

Give BigAck a break. They run fender cars there weekly and they get a little overly excited when race cars show up. LOL.

Huskers play away game and on Friday night so it has a much better chance than in the past to have a decent crowd. So glad we have 2 great tracks 12 miles apart running weekly that both support sprint cars. (Eagle & I80)

Been to this show before. Always been worth the trip! I miss the 2 day show with the shot at $50,000 but it is probably hard to pull cars, sponsors, and fans to two day shows multiple years on end. They always had the Husker game on TVs underneath the stands but you could tell it had some effect on the overall crowd. Sounds like a one day show for $5,000 on Saturday is a good fit for the situation.
Reutzel over Dover but I would love to see one of the Phillips boys get it if they make the trip again this year! McCarl at I-80 though is really hard to beat.

Both Ruetzel and Dover have had some good runs in the last couple of weeks but I like McCarl to take the win.
Would love to see Clint Garner make the trip.
Nothing wrong with BigAck trying to stir up a little discussion regarding area racing. Not much 410 racing around here at this time so I'll take the 360's. There are only a couple of nights left in the season unless you are traveling so enjoy it dude! Next April is a long ways away!

In a punting contest, Reutzel wins hands down. He's the best at it. :-)

Garner was there last year would expect him this year.
Are people around there still as infatuated with Nebraska football now that the team sucks and the coach is a worthless nobody? I get their addiction with it 20 years ago when they were annually a top 5 team but now where they might not be a top 50 team I could see the interest dwindling quite a bit. I thought Creighton basketball became the new "favorite" sport with a lot of Omahans? To think Nebraska, Miami, Texas, Florida and other top football programs of the 1990's and how far they have dropped is mind blowing.
How is the weather looking for Greenwood Satuday? Looking forward to it!

The weather is looking great with a high of 72 or 73 and a low of 57. Also, they are not calling for any rain. I would expect between 35-40 sprint cars. I really like the Double Heats format that this race has as you get to see plenty of sprint car racing.

Hope you guys have a great car count and an awesome track. It's a bit far for me, but I have my eye on Devils Bowl, and The Creek. Oh yea, I'll take the 2C, outta OKC.

Husker fan base in in pain. The program/ powers that be be built a money monster after the taste of success over the past 20 years. They moved to the Big 10, built sky boxes, built onto the stadium multiple times in the past 10 years. They grew and sustained this monster/ money machine with what the fans are now calling "ticket ransom". (yes, big personal and corp boosters play a big roll but multiply 90,000 x $1,500) Meaning in order to have the luxury of season tickets you get to also smile and pay a "booster fee". It is a floating cost scale based on how good of seats you want. Well, that worked when there was success or even hope of it coming back. Many are at the end of the "hope rope". The system knows it too. I have a very good friend high up in a large Lincoln company. Eichorst was out there 4-5 weeks ago fire selling season tickets packages. They see the sellout streak ending and are scrambling. The stadium is not full. They cling to the sellout streak years but it is very close to not being able to bluff it. We go to 1 game a year. It doesn’t ruin our day/ week like 80% of the fan base if they lose. I watched co-workers do countdown parties, etc for years. Most of that excitement for the coming season has withered away. Big boosters I am sure have done so with their checkbooks too. There are examples of miracles, Michigan, Penn State, etc. Just not sure it can be executed here a lot of realists are saying. Me, I put very few clock cycles to the game. So many wrap their whole late summer, fall, and half of winter around studying it so much. It takes me 2-3 games to remember the new QB and RB names. Many a Husker fan is looking for somewhere to focus their drive and analytics I sense as they don’t get the reward they had in the past for it all. My .$02

thank you. That was very interesting.
I went to a WoO 2 day show at I-80 speedway years ago. Saturday was a Nebraska home football game. Never new there were so many red cars and trucks. All of them Huskers red. I bet 80% of all the cars & pickups I saw on the interstate between Omaha and I-80 speedway were that same shade of red. WOW!
